CHAPTER 26

the chapter starts with kartik asking for a treatment for naira ; 

kartik: any treatment for this doctor ?

doctor: yes mr. goenka its surgery 

kartik : kyaa

doctor : yes mr. goenka but see naira's case is complicated she has already lost her memory which indicates that if we do surgery the clot will be removed but we dont know if she will gain her memory back .

kartik : but what should we do to get her memory back

doctor  : i dont think we should tell her everything right now because it may affect her abhi jaise you told her that you are her husband it did effect her i suggest we will take things slow 

kartik : okay doctor thank you 

doctor : mr. goenka do think of the surgery as soon as possible because surgery jitni lat ehogi more the risk will be and we may not be able to save her

kartik : what?

doctor: yes mr. goenka clot is a very serious disease which occurs due to stress please dont let her stress it may make the situation worse 

kartik : yes doctor 

while kartik rushed out of the doctor's cabin , the tears which he was holding back till now were not ending they were continuously flowing from his eyes ; the fear of loosing naira gripped him so hard that he couldn't believe the fact that his naira is dealing with such a dangerous disease that too for so long and he couldn't find it out the guilt of leaving her alone , shouting at her when she needed him was killing him from inside the thoughts of how did she spent the days without any care , or food was enough to make him dead from inside . moreover he was blaming the god that why everytime does she has to suffer why everytime heis not there with her to support her , to hold her hand and tell her that he is with her everytime but this time he failed and put her life in danger .

while manish comes from behind and consoles him ;

kartik : yes papa but what should we do about the surgery papa its very risky and you know naira she will panic she is injured of an injection also papa how surgery ?

manish : kartik tum usse sherni bulatein ho na vo karlegi haan its critical but if we dont do the surgery then we may loose her beta and we dont want that agar usse tum yaad bhi nahi honge na then i am sure that you will make her fall in love with you again 

kartik :yes papa toh we will do surgery 

saying this kartik goes to naira's cabin and sit there beside her hoping for her to wake up ; after some time naira opens her eyes and panics a little bit but kartik makes her calm and they sit

while kartik did not knew how to react to her ; 

kartik ;/ maine tumhein bohot dhoodha naira par tum nahi mili i missed you so much pata hain kairav ko tumhari kitni zyada yaad aati hain 

naira : i am sorry par mujhe sach mein kuch yaad nahi hain 

kartik : koi baat nahi naira hota hain tum stress mat lo 

naira : voh kairavv kahaan hain 

kartik ; ruko mein laata hoon 

saying this kartik went to take kairav and brought him to naira later the trio sepnt some blissfull moments together which kartik and kairav missed while naira felt complete with both of them ...
