CHAPTER 10

the chapter starts with kaira going to the goenka villa in a car. they was utter silence even kairav was sleeping . naira was totally silent and had an expressionless face. she did not knew how should she face the goenkas , the singhania's especially swarna. she was in a turmoil. the flashes of what had happened 2 years back came in front of her . kartik who knew her turmoil held her hand and spoke

kartik : naira i know it's not easy but one day we have to do it na . even kairav has to meet his family moreover , i don't want my naira to live without family. nairaa see i know you have beared a lot in these 2 years and it won't be easy to forgive everyone too but we can give it a try right . can't we ?

naira : yaa 

kartik ; naira don't be sad na . i know its hard but really if you are not ready then we will not go there . i really don't want to force you.

naira : nahi kartik we will go today and you are not forcing me .

kartik : naira you don't hate the family na

naira : pagal ho gaye ho kya kartik i dont hate anyone . hate is a very strong word.  i can understand maa's pain kartik. she is a mother and of course no mother wants to loose their child similarily with papa too but the point is of bhai , badi dadi , papa . why did they not trust me kartik ? i am toh their daughter na chalo it's fine if they did not trust me but do they really hate me ? why did they never contacted me kartik !

kartik : sh.shhh  naira , jo hogaya voh hogaya ab tum apne aansoon poocho because i can't see tears in my life's eyes varna meri zindagi toh..

before he could interrupt naira kept her hand on his mouth indicating him not to say further . naira lightly slapped him on his head .

they reached the goenka villa . kartik was holding kairav , he was sleeping only . naira got teary eyed looking at the goenka villa after 2 years.  they were on the entrance of the goenka villa. swarna was backfacing them and she was on a call. mansi came running downstairs but was shocked seeing naira . tears welled up in her eyes and she shouted

mansi : bhabhiii

swarna frozed on her place while mansi went and hugged naira.

mansi: bhabhi aap sach mein aa gayi ya fir yeh mera koi sapna hain? aur yeh baby yeh kon hain?

naira : mansi....

before naira could reply to mansi there  was a tight slap on naira's face by swarna which made naira fall down on the door.

swarna(shouted): himmat kaise hui tumhari mere ghar main aane ki . tum jaisi kaatil ko toh jail mein ho na chahiye ghar mein nahi , naahi mere bete ke saath

kartik went and caressed naira cheeks and wiped her tears and gave her i am here to look after things look. 

swarna : kartik tum iski side ? kyun isne tumhare bhai ko maara hain kartik. iss jaisi kaatil ke saath tum kyon reh rahe ho ? pagal ho gaye ho kya aur yeh bacccha  yeh tumhara he hain ya fir kisi aur ka 

this was enough for kartik to loose his calm. he understood that swaena lost shubham but blaming naira and upar se getting suspicious if kairav was his and naira's son only was so much for him

kartik (shouted): bas kijiye aap ma bas kijiye . aapko koi hak nahi banta 'meri' naira ya 'mere' bacche ki baare mein kuch bhi bolne ka . aur himmat kaisi hui aapki naira o thapad ek baar firse maarne ki ? kisne hak diya aap ko !! aap ko kya pata in 2 saalon mein kya hua hain . for god's sake naira ne shubham ko nahi maara hain . uski ki galti nahi hain so stop blaming her damn it !

due to his shoutings , kairav woke up and started crying while other goenka members also arrived and were shocked. luv kush were blooming with happiness seeing the baby .

naira : kartik kartik calm down please shaant ho jao kairav dar raha . please kartik calm down

swarna: kartik tum iss ke liye mujhse aise baat kar rahe ho . voh shubham ki kaatil..

before swarna could complete dadi interrupted,

dadi : chup ho jao swarna. haan maana maine naira ki wajah se shubham...never mind but yeh hamara chirag hain aur isse ham nahi chodenge . hamara vansh . kittu ka beta mera padpota. isse ham nahi chod paayenge

swarna : maa ji aap

dadi : bas bahut ho gaya

the chapter ends on naira consoling kairav, kartik's burning rage on swarna and swarna looking at dadi astonishingly while all the goenkas remaining shocked .
