Mason's POV

"Mabel!" I was about to shake her but Will stopped me.

"Dipper, it's best she sleeps now that we got the bullet out. There was a saying a long time ago, 'Sleep helps the mind relax and the body heal' or something like that."

"Really, when?" I asked.

"A few hundred years ago." I laughed.

"You know, I always forget you're way older than eighteen."

"I'm technically eighteen according to demon years, and I have the mind of an eighteen year old." Will said.

"Well by human years, you're ancient." I told him. Will smiled at me and sat next to me.

"Yeah yeah." I looked at Mabel missing what Will said next. "Dipper? Dipper!" Will snapped his fingers in front of my face.

"Sorry." I told him.

"Are you listening to me?"

"No, sorry." Will sighed.

"Do you want me to check on her?"

"You would do that?"

"If you're worried about her then yes I will." I hugged him.

"Thank you thank you!" Will smiled when I let him go

"Just get your shoulder and leg checked out while I'm in there.

"I actually think I'm alright, look." I rolled up my sleeve and showed him my shoulder. It was almost fully healed. Then I showed him the hole in my jeans.

"Wow, you heal fast." He said.

"I guess so."

"Okay, just let me tell everyone that I'm going to the mindscape." Will told everyone what he was going to do and got himself a chair.

"I'll see you in a bit Dip."

Will's POV

Mabel's mindscape had cracks, that wasn't a good sign. I looked up and the ceiling had falling stars on it. I watched them fall for a moment.

"Mabel!" I yelled. "Mabel!"

"W-who are you?" A small voice asked from behind a shelf. Was that Mabel?

"Mabel?"

"W-who wants to know?" She said coming out. The little girl had a dark blue shirt and black leggings with black sneakers with light blue laces. In her hand was a small throwing knife.

"My name is Will, I'm a" I paused. "I'm a friend."

"W-Why should I trust you?" She pointed the knife towards me.

"You keep the knife and I'll tell you one of my secrets." She cocked her head to the side. I smiled and my hand set on fire. I made the blue fire into the shape of a dolphin and made it jump around me until it diminished. The brown haired girl's sapphire eyes looked in awe but went back to serious.

"My momma said not to trust strangers." I leaned closer to the little girl.

"The password is, 'throwing knives are amazing.'" How did I know that? Dipper told me a little while ago that Mabel used a password so she knew she could trust them if they tried to pick them up. Her shoulders relaxed and she put the knife down.

"I guess I can trust you. D-Do you know where my brother is?"

"What's your brother's name?" I had a feeling that this was Mabel, but I had to make sure.
