Chapter 39: "QUILL IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK!"

(Please read Author's note, I need your opinion with something)

Mason's POV

Mabel Pines and I watched Bill follow Dipper Pines upstairs. We gathered up towels to dry the mess Tad had created. Red Pine went back upstairs to find some more towels. "Is she going to be okay?" Mabel Pines asked, quietly. "Your sister I mean."

"I think so. She's a fighter, always has been." Bill and Dipper Pines came back. Bill used his powers to clean the rest of the water but he didn't dry off Will. What a great twin brother. The door opened and Tad came into the house.

"I'm sorry Dipper."

"It's okay." He told him.

"Why am I soaking wet?"

"Your Uncle set off the fire alarm."

"Uncle Tad!"

"What?" Will shook his head and sighed. 

"Okay I got some more," Red Pine looked around. "Oh we don't need anymore towels. Cool, I'm going back up stairs."

"Dude give me two towels!" I yelled.

"Here you go!" Red pine threw me two beach towels and went back up. I went to Will.

"So?" I asked. Will smiled at me.

"She's going to be okay Dipper. Don't worry." I sighed a breath of relief and wrapped the towel around him.

"Thank you Will." I said hugging him.

"Anytime Dipper." We hugged for a second before I released him.

"Now let's go check on those stitches yeah?"

"Yeah okay." I looked over to Mabel Pines. She was talking to Pacifica Northwest.

"Hey Mabel?"

"Yeah Tyrone?"

"Could you watch my sister, just for a bit?"

"Yeah of course Tyrone." She came over and patted my shoulder. She sat down in the chair in front of my sister. Will and I went up stairs and made our way to the bathroom. There was an extra set of stairs.

"Hey Will, I think your brother made another floor in the shack."

"I guess so." We went into the bathroom and Will sat on the sink and took off his shirt. I cut the bandages off. Will was full healed.

"Will, you're fully healed."

"Really? I've never healed that fast before."

"Yeah, we just need to take out the stitches and you'll be good. Do you want me to get one of your brothers?"

"No they can't know about this, they would freak out and" The door opened. It was Quill. She was humming a song then saw us. My face felt hot.

"What the heck! Lock the door jeez!" She yelled covering her eyes.

"Quill!" Will's face turned red. "It's not what you think!"

"Look you're eighteen it's fine just lock the door before you-"

"QUILL IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK! DIPPER WAS TAKING MY STITCHES OUT!" Will yelled putting his face into his hands. Quill looked at Will.

"From what?" She asked.

"Dipper had to give me stitches because even though I got healed I still needed them."

"Why didn't you say that before? I thought-"

"I know what you thought!" Will yelled. Quill chuckled.

"Well do you need any help?" She asked. I looked at Will.

Should Quill do it? Will asked me telepathically.

I think she should stay to help. I'll take out the stitches if you want me to. I told him.

"Can you just stay in case anything happens?" Will asked. Quill smiled at him.

"Of course little brother." She said. Quill sat on the counter next to Will. "It shouldn't hurt if Mason here does it right."

"Pass me the scissors will you Quill?" She got me the scissors. "I cut near the knot , correct?"

"Yeah," She said. I smiled a bit to myself cutting the thread. "Tweezers please?" I asked.

"Here you go." I traded the scissors for the tweezers. I pulled out the stitches, Will didn't even flinch. I threw away the cut stitches and Will got his shirt back on.

"Hey Quill?"

"Yeah Will?"

"Can, can you not tell the rest of our family about this? I don't want them to freak out."

"Yeah of course. Just do me a favor?"

"What?" Will asked. Quill smirked and was halfway through the door.

"Use protection!" She yelled, closing the door.

"QUILL!" Will's face was bright red and I was almost sure that mine was too but I still laughed.

"Your sister is something else." I said. Will stayed silent with his face in his hands. I chuckled again. "Are you okay tomato face?"

"Shut up Mason." Will muttered. I pulled Will in a hug and kissed the top of his head.

"She's just teasing us, it's what siblings do."

"Just shut up." He told me again. I let go of Will.

"Come on Will we need to go back." His face was still a light pink. Will and I went back down stairs. Mabel Pines was watching over my sister and talking to Pacifica Northwest. Gideon and Paz were talking to Quill. Bill was with Dipper Pines. And Tad was with Kill.

"Hey Kill where's Red Pine?" I asked.

"He had to get back to our Dimension. Blazing Star needed him." Kill's phone dinged and he looked at it. He cursed under his breath. "I gotta go too, Ford's trying to get Fighter and Blazing star on his side. I better go help them." Quill came over quickly and hugged Kill.

"Be safe little brother."

"I will be, don't disappear again okay?" I heard Quill laugh.

"I won't." The two let go of each other and a portal opened up. Kill waved and disappeared into it.

"I better go too. I need to take care of some things back home. Pyronica is blasting fire balls at Kryptos."

"Pyronica always did like throwing fireballs at people." Bill said.

"And I better go stop her." Tad said.

"I'll go with you!" Quill yelled.

"No Quill. You're going to stay here and rest. I lost you once, I'm not going to lose you again." He said.

"But, but," Tad put his hands on Quill's shoulders.

"No young lady. Stay here with your brothers." Quill sighed.

"Fine. Don't die old man." Tad chuckled and hugged her.

"Don't disappear again." They hugged for a moment and parted ways. Tad opened a portal of his own and disappeared into it. A ding broke the silence.

"Oh Sparkles." Mabel Pines said.

"What happened Mabel?" Dipper Pines asked.

"Great Uncle Ford, Soos says he's coming this way. And he's bringing guns."

Finally another chapter. It took way longer than it should've but I had finals and I hope you forgive me. I don't want this story to end! But it's almost done. Maybe that's why I'm slowly writing, I don't want to stop the story. But all stories must end. Now, I'm tempted to write what happens to Kill and Red Pine as it's own chapter but I want ya'll opinion. So, do you guys want to see what happened to Kill and Red Pine?
