CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

"The first day, I saw you got auditioned in singing... I was mesmerized with your smile, your voice, your face. That was one day when my yaya always watch that channel where in there are lots  of people singing in the television, while I solve problems in mathematics, I didn't mind other's not until I heard you. I usually do not care about who or what does my yaya watches but the moment I heard your name, I heard you giggle, your passionate voice...

My whole world stopped. That's when I stopped solving and sat on the couch, my yaya Coring teases me but all I care is to watch you, happily introducing yourself infront of the judges and audiences, I wish I was there. I voted you in the social media even though it was not my thing, you won in it, I lost 80,000 of my first money as the manager in our company but I don't care as long I can see you win. Until you did, congratulations!"

A picture of me smiling on the camera appeared on the television that I am now watching. That was the first time I received plenty of teddy bears and chocolates.

"That time, I asked my mom and yaya to send you gifts which I do not usually do unless in the bahay ampunan. My mom and dad was curious the way I acted infront of them when I said that for the first time, saying: "Ngayon ka lang naging ganito sa babae, anak. Nagbibinata ka na.", All I could do is to laugh at them right now, sila iyong laging katulong ko sa pagpapadala sa gifts sa iyo kahit iyong mgaa kapatid ko ay dinamay ko sa katarantaduhan kong hindi ko kasi kayang ibigay sa iyo nang harap-harapan ang bulaklak or gifts ko. But as I grew older, narealize ko na ang daming gustong umaligid sa iyo. Sabi ko, gagawa ako nang paraan pero doon iyong oras na inanunsyo mo na may boyfriend ka..."

I stopped chewing on my popcorn when I remembered the day I announced Tim as my boyfriend in public. Napa-iling nalang ako at nagfocus sa pinapanood.

"I was sad... Literally like this oh!" And with that a pictures of him drinking, pouting, and crying are showed. "It's funny to think now that I am this crazy towards you, goodness. That picture was taken by my mom, meron pang ibang pictures, but I don't want to show you the embarrassing moments I had. Mas gusto ko ipakita sa iyo na mahal na mahal kita, simula noon, hanggang kamatayan ko, ikaw at ikaw parin ang babalikan ko... Kasi kahit anong gawin ko, na tumingin sa iba ay hindi ko kaya, kaya ginawa ko iyong video.

Pero hinding-hindi ko iyon i-u-upload. Ikakamatay ko kapag dahil doon ay magagalit ka sa akin, kaya huwag kang mag-alala dahil hindi ko iyon gagawin. Ginawa ko lang iyong pagkukuha ng video dahil gusto kitang mapa-saakin kahit kailan."

Wala na akong pakialam sa video na iyon pero paulit-ulit na gusto ko siyang panoorin.

Though I know you will hate me but atleast, I can see you nearer. I was damn right because one morning you stormed in my office and boom, you look so hot and beautiful when you're angry.
