CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

Eiress' POV
(apo nila Vin and Blythe)

"Is this really a goodbye?" Naluluhang tanong ni dad sa akin.

I laughed and hugged ny dad, because he's emotional I cannot help but to shed a tear also. Hinila ako ni dad sa ka-dramahan niya!

"Damn you, Vonn...hindi na sana ako iiyak eh!" My mom shouted at him and I laughed, mom is trying her best not to cry actually kanina ko pa siya napapansin na tulala pero mangiyak-ngiyak din akala niya siguro hindi ko nakita ang pagluha niya kanina nong nasa loob pa kami ng kotse.

"No one can blame me, I love my daughter... I'll be missing you anak... Just call us anytime, magpakagaling ka. Iingatan mo ang sarili mo Eiress kundi malalagot ka sa akin kapag hindi mo inaalagaan ang sarili mo. Mag-rest ka kapag tapos ka mag-aral at huwag masyado magpuyat nako sinasabi ko sa'yo uuwi ka dito kapag may nabalitaan ako. Huwag ka pa munang magpa-ligaw doon ha, aral muna 'nak."

"Yes dad, I promise ikaw unang makaka-alam kapag nabuntis ako... Aray naman!"

"Huwag mo akong jino-joke dito Eiress. Anong buntis sinasabi nitong batang ito, wala pa akong 60+ anak para diyan! Gusto ko magka-apo pero basta huwag sa edad na yan, kapag 28 to 30 ka na saka pwede. Ayoko naman na hahantong kang 35 to 40 saka mag-aasawa baka ugod-ugod na ako diyan."

My mom laughed while wiping her tears, she's standing beside dad. "Hindi ka naman ugod-ugod. Hindi mo na need ang proof." Sabi ni mom tsaka kumindat kay dad. Si dad naman nag-blush pa saka ngumiti at hinalikan si mom sa noo nito.

Umiwas nalang ako ng tingin at ngumiti, matanda na sila pero sweet sila, sobrang nakakakilig.

"Luhh, andito na sila grandma..." Pagkasabi ko doon ay agad lumingon ang parents ko.

Kasama ni grandma si grandpa, ang kapatid ni daddy Vonn na si tito Vinn saka ang asawa nito.

"Hello po!" Sabi ko at lumapit sakanila isa-isang nakipag-beso at hug. "Thank you for coming po." Nakangiti akong humiwalay sa huling yakap ng grandma ko.

But before I let go of from her hugs, she whispered... "Don't forget our deal, hija."

I only had to winked at her after our hug. Sadly my grandma died two year ago because of stroke, she became a person closest to my heart, we were hurt, especially mom and her father and siblings but we learned to let go but never forget her memories left within us.

I bid my goodbyes to them as I am approaching the entrance to where I'll be walking to enter the airplane. I then once again looked back but... I guessed he won't came, he really didn't... Kanina pa ako tingin ng tingin doon sa entrance ng airport kaso wala pala talaga... I smiled bitterly before I turned my back to my family.

Things never go as what I've expected, this is the reality anyway. Just... Someday when I get back here in the Philippines, I could just see him, pass through him like I never did cute, embarrassing, and clingy moments to him. How dare him!

And my grandma's wish, she told me... After my study, I have to get back to Philippines so I could meet up with her friends' grandson. I agreed anyway because one day she'll forget that or we are not sure if the man will have its own family. Bravo!

Of course I had to ride airplane to reach America... Where am I going to have a school.

"What did you tell our grandchild?"

I laughed whole-heartedly and he just looked at me confused. "Come on, what is there to say..."

"I know you..." He said then sighed.

I tsked. "Of course why not I am your wife, idiot. Nothing... Just told her she'd get home here she should find her boyfriend." I giggled from inside, I didn't tell him in details, Eiress and I only knew this.

"Oh, Blythe... How could you think of her having a boyfriend instead of thinking her as a captain in the future."

I glared at my husband, he just looked at me calmly.

"Fine, sinabi ko lang naman iyon kasi sayang lahi natin..."

"Iyong mga apo nating lalaki muna bago nga babae." Sabi pa niya at kumindat sa akin.

"Hoy! Ano gusto mo ang tumanda na ang mga apo natin saka sila mag-aasawa, ikaw nga hindi pa ako gaanong matanda inasawa mo ako, bulag ka ba... Syempre nabulag ka sa beauty ko."

My husband laughed at my lines before standing. "Oo na, say what you want... After all, I am ready to be your servant, what do you want ma'am?"

I bit my lower lip when he took one of my feet from the floor then massaged it in a seducing way. "Go on." I said then winked.

He lowered his face on my face then whispered...

"Whatever you want, ma'am."

I smirked. "Good. Now take me to my bed, my servant and have fun with your baby... Call me that."

"Eww, mom dad get a room you two..."

We were startled when our daughter, Brylle got inside carrying bags of groceries.

I tsked. Inayos ko ang pagkaka-upo ko at ganoon din si Vin. "How I wished pinutok ka ng dad mo sa pillow ano."

My daughter laughed at me even my husband. "But I didn't, cause I was so happy to add another in the family kaya..."

"Yurkkk, no please!" Brylle stood in our front then shouted annoyingly, which made us laugh. "Okay I get it... Sorry kung pinutol ko sexy moments ninyo pero fine! I will not eat here with you... Gusto ko lang naman matikman ang luto mo ulit mom, because I am four weeks preggy and I can't help but crave for it."

Instead of letting her leave the house I stopped her... "No, come on I will cook for you and our soon to be baby... Oh oh."

"Earlier you look so upset, but now happy?"

Hinaplos ko ang tiyan ni Brylle at ngumiti. "Of course nainis lang ako kasi kung keylan uminit saka dumating ang panlamig, but now that can wait, of course I have to bring you your favorite food... I'm sure magiging favorite din ni baby."

I said, inilabas ko na ang ingredients at sinimulang magluto...

"Thank you mom."

"For what?" I said as I look at my daughter, she's beautiful. My daughter now she'll be having a baby.

"For always taking care of me and my siblings and even now that we're having our own family. Always being grateful for having a mom like you."

"Thank you anak, I love you, you and your siblings and your own family."

I smiled sweetly... How I wished to leave my life longer than I ever wanted, to see my family happy and satisfied is my genuine happiness.
