❝ is everyone okay? ❞, liu asked once they had all escaped the massive horde of the undead

kumiho eyed the detective, he was quiet for the majority of the time and was breathing very heavily. she slowly placed her hand on his shoulder and shook him

❝ detective? ❞, she whispered, slowly turning him to face her and gasped

frank twitched unnaturally and gripped her forearm, forcing it to his mouth. she quickly twisted her arms and kicked him away

❝ he's acting just like them—i'm out of here! ❞, lonky ran off to the other compartment, with the others after him

the new compartment was safe enough from the undead for now and they met up with a scientist along the way

❝ you have any idea how to fix this? ❞, kumiho asked

the scientist sniffed and nodded, ❝ there's a vaccine that could cure all this but it's at the luggage compartment ❞

liu hummed, ❝ it's just a couple of compartments away, we actually might be able to get it in time before the trains taken over by the herd ❞, just as he said that, his elbow accidentally pressed the button that opened the hatch door

the infected flooded the place, shoving each other to reach the others. kumiho's arm around gai's and miyo's shoulder, forcing the two to run ahead of her

her jacket got caught from one of the infected so she discarded it, leaving her with her black jumpsuit

they made it to another compartment and as the door was closing, frank jumped between the door causing it to stay ajar

lonky looked down, ❝ he's got the keys.. ❞, he mutters and bent down to grab the keys that laid near the detective's hand. just as he's pulling back, frank sprung up and took a bite on his hand

❝ fuck! ❞, lonky yelped, looking at the bite mark and hid it behind his back when kuga looked at him

❝ where's popo and liu? weren't they behind us? ❞, kuga asked, looking out the glass window. he jolted away when the mentioned two's are pressed against the window, both infected

❝ great ❞, kumiho said sarcastically, ❝ isn't this just great, they just had to ruin it with this ridiculous infection ❞

❝ relax kumi, we'll get through this together ❞, miyo pat her head and looked at the others, ❝ for now, we have to get to the luggage compartment without making any sort of noise ❞

they nodded and was about to unlock the hatch door when a snarl broke the silence. kuga groaned and grabbed lonky by the neck, stopping him from biting the group

he rolled his eyes at the though of carrying the infected giraffe the whole journey, ❝ let's keep moving ❞

miyo and gai shared an uneasy look but kept moving nonetheless. kumiho stayed infront of them, making sure none of the infected come close

poor lonky, being used as a bat to smack away the infected. once the path was clear, they took a risk and run to kuga

unfortunately, an infected blocked their path which forced kumiho to skid to a stop while the other two jumped ahead of her, dragging her down

her body collided with the pululu and she winced when a surge of pain travelled up her left arm. she felt her energy drained out of her system as she pushed herself from the ground and ran beside the others
