in the village of the mong tribe, kumiho resides in a decent-sized house along with gai and his little brothers. she loved her life and the people she's with—although she had to face with some troubles which is what she's dealing with right now

chaos surrounded the living room, loud laughters and shouts echoed the area as kumiho placed both hands on her knees to catch her breath

❝ blah! you can never catch us kumi! ❞, the boys basically yells and kumiho feels the headache

what's worst is that they both know that kumiho is drained from work but they missed her so creating more problems could get her to play along

❝ boys please.. ❞, kumiho tries again, shaking her head as she leans over the counter, palms flat on the surface to try and calm down. she's got enough stress at work and she doesn't need to come home and chase her boyfriend's brother for hours because they're bored

the boys arms drop to their sides and they blinks dumbly at their favourite person. they finally noticed the bags under her eyes, devilish hair, wrinkled clothes and how tightly she's biting her bottom lip to them from trembling

pai was the first one to approach her, his arms wrapped around her legs as he rested his head on her hips. kumiho loosens up at the contact and ruffles his hair

❝ are you okay, big sis? ❞, he ask, nuzzling the tip of his nose with hers when she leaned down to his height

❝ oh, baby i'm alright—work's just been tough lately ❞, she cooed softly, trying to stop a fond laugh from bursting out when the other two rushed over to her embrace

she pulled them away, arms loosely around her little ones, ❝ why don't we make some popcorns and watch some movies till gai is back from shopping? ❞

she watched as their eyes lit up and smiled

❝ oh oh! can i make the popcorn ❞, zai exclaimed, raising his arms up with a bright grin, ❝ please? ❞

kumiho pressed a kiss to the tip of his nose, ❝ go ahead you little rascal ❞

❝ i'll help him before he breaks something again ❞, pai assures her and dragged his whining brother to the kitchen

kumiho glanced down to find mai fiddling with her shirt and frowned. she cups his face and traced circles on his cheeks with her thumbs, ❝ you don't wanna help your brothers with the popcorn? ❞

he shook his head and stepped forward to bury his face in the crook of his neck. kumiho sighs and picked him up, hands rubbing his back, ❝ what's the matter kiddo? ❞, she softly ask

❝ sorry.. ❞, he mumbled much to her confusion but she didn't respond when he went on, ❝ we missed you and wanted to play but you got sad about it—i'm sorry big sis ❞

❝ awh baby ❞, she cooed, ❝ i can never be sad because of your three. big sis was just tired, that's all. don't blame yourself alright? ❞, she assures him, while making her way to the couch and threw a blanket over them for warmth

❝ ok.. ❞, he murmurs. the boy is exhausted, he ran around all day, kumiho can only expect him to fall asleep quickly along with the other two

she smiles fondly, caressing his back as the boy lays on her tummy, ❝ since it's your turn to pick a movie, i'll put on your favourite cartoon ❞

❝ no..wanna watch what big sis choose ❞, mai precises with a little smile, ❝ i'm a big boy now and big boys don't watch cartoons ❞

❝ of course ❞, she let out a chuckle and put on the first movie she saw which was transformers. she noticed multiple soft footsteps rushing up to her and quickly place her hands on zai's mouth before he could wake mai up
