❝ yes! ❞, he replied

she was the only one willing to listen to him while the others ignored his calls. she knew not to trust someone like him but the frantic eyes and the shakiness of his voice seems real

❝ alright i'll keep that in mind—stay safe idiot ❞

❝ y-yeah safe, of course..i seriously need the toilet before i leak ❞, she definitely heard the last part but ignored it and ended the call

she narrowed her eyes, ❝ i need to keep an eye on liu ❞

❝ come help me with this ❞, kuga's voice entered her ears. she turned around to find him standing juts below a hatch

they were on the seventh floor with no problem whatsoever and agreed to win this together

❝ yeah yeah, i'm coming, you big broody hunk ❞, she says, whispering the last part

kuga smacked the side of her head, ❝ i heard that ❞

the last floor was slightly different than the others. there's a door that needed a key ring to get access to

speaking of the key, one rolled into frame from nowhere

❝ um.. ❞, she glanced at the ring and settles back to kuga. he hesitated and went to retrieve it

kumiho looked briefly around the room incase someone was there with them

❝ lets just open the damn door ❞, he grunts out, making his way towards the exit

kumiho's ears picked up on a soft 'pew' and grabbed onto her companions sash, pulling him towards her

a laser beam narrowly misses the tiger's head if she didn't move him

they whipped their heads to where the source of laser was and noticed liu, gun in hand

❝ so lonky wasn't exactly lying ❞, kumiho drew her sword out, twirling it around to block his shots

kuga used the chance of liu's distraction to attack from behind

❝ just give up already! ❞, liu says, reloading his gun and barely escapes the blade coming his way

the three were so focused on fighting that they didn't notice the key was taken

the person inserted the key, causing the door to open ajar, which caught their attention

❝ look who's winning this match now—better luck next time~ ❞, gai teased, waving at them with a mocking smile

he watched the door closed just before the other three could enter

❝ and the winner of this competition is—gai! ❞, 03-32 announced. loud cheers and ear-piercing screams echoed around the arena

kuga turned to liu and smacked the back of his head, ❝ this is all your fucking fault ❞

liu whined, jumping on his back, ❝ hey! don't blame me—it's clearly your fault ❞

kumiho watched as the two man child bickered with disinterest

❝ oh girls, girls you're both pretty—can we head back now? ❞, she pulled liu off kuga's back and dragged them by the hand

❝ you don't have to hold our hands, we can walk you know—we ain't kids ❞, kuga said but nonetheless he didn't resist

❝ oh hush ❞

her watch beeped, indicating that someone was calling her and answered

❝ um kumi? ❞, it was miyo and she seemed rather annoyed with a twinge of disgust, ❝ lonky peed himself and popo's running around like a maniac ❞

❝ take pala and leave them ❞

❝ will do ❞
