Just by a look of the long queue ahead of her, set her shoes tapping against the floor violently.
She hadn't managed to have her breakfast in the morning. By now, she was ready to devour everything at sight.
"Stop doing that," her friend scolds, her eyebrows straining together.
She doesn't stop but rolls her eyes in response.
Her friend isn't bothered to tell her off the next time because she had learnt about her stubborn nature.
The surface of a unfamiliar fabric rubbed against her skin, causing her head to snap at the direction.
There stood him, in his usual jacket.
His brows were drown down over his eyes, straight and black. His eyes held an intimidating look, but she couldn't help but notice a lingering touch of fear in his eyes.
It seemed as though he was afraid that he had dared to touch her.
"Sorry," he barely muttered, tearing his eyes away from her as he walked away.
She looked back at the retreating figure, her eyes glued. He brought back the memories she had locked inside her heart.
It was something about him.
