Introductions
What am I supposed to say
I don't know, all I do know
Is that what I do end up saying
Is never correct
Introduce yourself, they say
Make yourself known
Tell this stranger about yourself
And if you succeed, you make a friend
And if you fail, you stay alone
I can handle being alone
I'm rather good at it, actually
But I shouldn't be good at it
I shouldn't be able to get through
School without uttering a word
But I do, it's who I am
I guess, I don't know
Not really
But tomorrow, a new day
I'm going to introduce myself
