"Of course we're friends," Yo answered, wanting to relax but still feeling a strange tension in the air. "I would have come to visit you before leaving. I want to introduce my boyfriend."

Park's eyes narrowed as he focused on Pha, "Your boyfriend? This human?"

Yo nodded and Pha cleared his throat. Pha was inexplicably nervous but wanted to make his feelings clear, "Yes, his boyfriend. We're going to be together forever."

"Forever is a very long time ... ," Park started to say, but Yo cut him off.

"I've given him my heart," Yo said tremulously. He wanted to share his happiness with his friend, but when he said the words, the tension seemed to stretch and grow, expanding into anger.

"You gave him your heart?" Park looked shaken and hurt, but suddenly turned fierce. Looking at Yo he demanded, "You should have come to me! I would have made you happy! I could have taught you all the human pleasures. Pleasures you can't even dream of. Not just one partner, but several. As many as you like, even more than one at a time! I would have given you everything!"

"But Park ... ," Yo wasn't sure how to respond, but he noticed that his angel friends were carefully herding all the humans farther away and that Arthit and Kongpob were both standing alertly by his side.

"I would have given you everything!" Park repeated shrilly, spittle flying from his lips as his eyes bulged. The dark angel unfurled his wings, sleek black feathers that appeared to be surrounded by flames. Park dove toward Pha with murder in his eyes. Yo pushed Pha into the car and ran forward to meet Park, ramming him backward and away from the man Yo loved.

Seeming to crawl directly from the shadows, more demons pushed forward with red eyes trained on the angels. Soon the car park had turned into a battlefield. Yo saw that Pha was still in the car and that the angels were keeping the demons far from the humans, who were being protected by Forth. The Fallen wasn't as strong as the other angels, but he would serve as the last line of defense should the angels fail.

Yo turned his attention to Park who didn't seem to want to hurt him, but was trying to fight his way toward Pha. He wouldn't get there, of course, the forces of destruction were easier to control than the forces of good, but good was much more powerful. Yo had nearly defeated Park when his attention was called back to Pha.

Pha had been sitting in the car, watching with wide eyes as his beautiful boyfriend fought what looked like a fiery demon with black wings. His mind was scattered, unable to focus on anything but the confusion he felt. Was Yo really an angel? Hadn't that been a metaphor? He was trying to come to terms with what he was seeing when he heard a seductive voice calling for him.

"Come with me, Pha," Pring had joined the other demons. It was like all her sweetness was gone and she was exuding power and glamour, tempting Pha to follow her. He looked at her and felt a strange pull that left him agitated. His heart kept telling him to stand firmly with Yo, but as his eyes found Pring, he was bewitched. She exuded sexual desire, and his body was powerless to resist.

Pha looked between Pring and Yo, for the first time feeling a real indecisiveness. She was beautiful and sexy and captivating, while Yo was kindness and sweetness and innocence. Pha's heart belonged to Yo, he knew it and didn't want to deny it, but at that moment, looking at Pring, he couldn't deny a temptation that he'd never felt. He'd never wanted Pring before, but now she seemed to be wrapped in a power that drew him closer.

"Pha?" Yo called to him, turning his attention from Park. Pha was staring at Pring and Yo felt her power radiating around Pha, tempting him.

Pha stood and began to walk toward Pring. She had a smile of victory on her face and Yo felt his heart beating harder than it ever had.
