Getting Together

Author's Note: I need to apologize. I told you earlier that my laptop retired and I wasn't able to save any of the work I had for this story. The only parts I still had were the things I had already uploaded on Wattpad. I was able to get out some updates since that, but when I lost the story, I also lost the outline. I still remember what I want to have happen, but it's not all laid out for me anymore, and I'm not as good at getting things out if I don't have a plan. It's like making dinner, if I have a basic idea what meals I'm making for the week, I can switch them around based on what I want to make and eat that day, but if I don't have a plan I do take out or leftovers or frozen meals, because I'm too lazy to figure it out last minute.

So back to my apology, now that I don't have my definite plan, I was kind of dreading (and therefore putting off) this chapter. I finished it today, but to be perfectly honest it isn't what I really wanted. It feels like it isn't ready, but it's been over two weeks since my last update so I need to put out something. Enough complaining. I am sorry. I know this chapter isn't perfect, and is kind of short. Please forgive me for taking so long to update my story. And please, though I know this isn't my best chapter, keep coming back. I hope you like it.

"A dark angel?" Yo asked, feeling only slightly alarmed

"A dark angel?" Yo asked, feeling only slightly alarmed. "Why would a dark angel be angry at me? I've never even been to the human world before. How would we have met?"

"He wasn't always a dark angel," Arthit explained. "Dark angels are just Fallen that take power from Hell."

"True, but I've rarely even met a Fallen," Yo replied, trying to come up with any reason that a Fallen would be angry with him. "It can't be Forth, because he's still Fallen and you wouldn't be allowing him around if he was a threat. That only leaves Park and he would never hurt anyone, least of all me."

"Why do you think he'd never hurt you? He was a Fallen," Arthit asked. "Didn't you refuse to let him past the Heavenly Gates?"

"Park never asked to return to the Heavens," Yo answered, "and if he had asked, he wouldn't have asked me anyway. We just met at the Gates to talk."

**Flashback — 3rd person POV**

"I wasn't sure you would come," Park said, sitting down not far from the Heavenly Gates.

"Of course I came," Yo answered, smiling as he joined his friend. "We've known each other since creation, why wouldn't I come?"

"I'm a Fallen now," Park explained, moving closer so they could speak more privately. "I'm sure that neither Father nor your older brother would want us to be friends now."

"You know Father isn't that way," Yo responded with a little frown. "His love is unconditional and forgiveness is offered to all."

"If He still loves me and is going to forgive me anyway, then why am I Fallen?" Park asked, his eyes showing sorrow. "Why not just allow me to experience the world and come back when I'm done?"
