We both took a sip from the drinks that we had just ordered while occasionally glancing up at each other. He appeared to want to talk to me, so I gave him my undivided attention. He smiled and cleared his throat quietly. "So, are you a recent reader of my series? I noticed you were reading my second book."

I smiled and shook my head, "No, I'm an old reader. I've been reading them for a few years now."

"Ah, so you were rereading them?"

I nodded and added shyly, "Yes, sir. This will be the 33rd time I've reread your current books."

The male cat blinked in surprise and chuckled. "Goodness, you remind me of my buddy, Bendy."

I tilted my head in curiosity. "Bendy? Who's that?"

"He's another lover of my books, and he tries to act casual around me, but I can tell he is a crazy big fan. He's just the sweetest thing. He's like...he's like a son to me." Felix gave a warm smile at the mention of the young demon.

"Awww, that's so cute!" I giggled. "I'd love to meet him sometime."

"I would be delighted to introduce the two of you," he said with a warm smile. He then reached into his coat pocket and produced a small white card which he handed to me. Upon inspection, I noticed that the card contained his full name, Felix James Cat, along with his personal phone number.

(A/N: I think the middle name "James" suits him, don't you? I improvised on the middle name.)

My eyes widened, and my lips parted in shock when he gave me his phone number. I felt grateful and thanked him. It was then that I received a text from my best friend Kate asking what I was up to.

I smirked and looked at Felix, thinking this could be the perfect opportunity for payback after Kate pranked me last week. I felt silly for even considering it and began shyly, "Um...Mr. Felix? This might be silly, and I know we just met, but would you like to help me prank my best friend?"

Felix playfully raised his brow and smiled. "Prank your friend?" he asked. I felt embarrassed and raised my hands defensively, stuttering, "You don't have to. I admit that it is an odd request." Felix, never showing any sign of discomfort, spoke up once again. "I'm a laid-back kind of guy. Sure thing, I'll do it," he said with a giggle, folding his arms over his chest.

I blinked in surprise; shocked that he was willing to help a stranger prank her friend. "You are the most chill person I have ever met," I said.

He laughed and shook his head playfully, speaking up again. "I have two little prankster nephews. This isn't my first rodeo, mate. So what's the plan?"

I paused, feeling even more embarrassed now. After mustering up some courage, I replied sheepishly, "I want to prank her, saying I'm engaged to you. She knows who you are, and that I read your books." This idea was stupid. What was I thinking?!

Felix burst out laughing, placing one hand over his forehead. "Never in my life has anyone ever asked me to do something like pretending to be someone's significant other."

"Again, if you want to back out, it's fine," I offered yet again.

"No no, that's alright. It sounds fun. I don't have any plans today. Besides, where would be the fun in backing out of a little challenge?" Once again, he gave a kind, reassuring smile.

"Well...alright." I smiled in return and pulled out my phone. First, I put Felix's name and number in my contacts, then texted him. Once he received the text, he glanced up at me. "May I ask your name, Miss?"
