Felix POV:I opened my eyes with a quiet, waking groan. After a few moments, my vision finally adjusted to the soft, early morning sunlight spilling through the living room window.
'Strange...I don't remember falling asleep. Oh well,' I thought to myself. I allowed my eyes to drift down to the woman sleeping peacefully in my arms. A smile crossed my lips as I took in the sight of her. She appeared calm and relaxed. Hopefully, she wouldn't mind that I had accidentally slept over. Something told me that she most likely wouldn't mind.I shifted a bit, and allowed her to slumber a bit longer. I simply stroked her hair while I allowed my thoughts to wander elsewhere. Minutes passed of my mindless stroking of her hair, until she woke up on her own. A soft squeak came from her as she stretched, earning a chuckle from me. "Well, good morning, (Y/n)."
"Hmm?..." She sat up a bit more, since she had been slouched against me. "Morning?....," She turned her sleepy gaze to the window, then allowed her eyes to drift back to me. "Oh- I'm so sorry," she apologized quietly. Her morning voice was soft, tender, and sweet. It caused my heart to flutter, the way it had the previous night.
"Oh no, it's alright. I believe I fell asleep not too long after you. I don't mind," I replied with a smile.
A delicate pink dusted her cheeks as she locked eyes with me. I tilted my head curiously, wondering what had caused her blush. "Are you alright?," I asked gently, and cupped her cheek in my hand.
"Y-Yeah- it's your morning voice," she replied honestly. I personally have never paid much attention to my morning voice, but hearing myself now, I realized just how smooth, deep, husky, and attractive it sounded. She most likely thought it sounded sexy. A chuckle escaped my throat, giving her a playful smirk.
She shot up out of my lap before I could tease her, seeming to know I was just about to. "Nope! Not today, Felix!!," she exclaimed as she rushed into the kitchen.
I burst out laughing, got up, and followed after her.
"Oh (Y/n)~ You can't run away~," I called after her in a sing-song tone."Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope-", she backed up into the counter, then looked in horror as I advanced toward her. She had nowhere else to go. I scooped her up and laughed. "You can't escape now~"
I carried her back into the living room, and sat back down on the couch with her. Immediately, I began to tickle her sides, causing her to screech like a monkey. She then started to wriggle while giggling in my hold. "F-Felix!!! Ahahahah!!!"
"Surrender!!!," I exclaimed with jest, allowing my tickle attack to continue. "NEVER!!!," she declared and squirmed more.
When she began to run out of breath, I released her. I was now wheezing with laughter. She panted; trying regain breath, "Hhhhhhh-," she groaned in a fake annoyed manner. However, looking at her, there was no mistaking that smile on her face. I playfully shook my head and stood up.
"Would you mind if I checked your kitchen for ingredients? Perhaps I can fix breakfast?"She sat up, and combed her hair with her fingers, "Yeah, that's fine, but I get to help-"
I smiled, and together, we reentered the kitchen. She looked in horror at the containers of leftover meals that she had accidentally left out the previous night. Whatever leftovers that were still good have definitely gone bad by now after being left out. She groaned, and began collecting the containers. One by one, she emptied them into the bin (trash), and did the same with the already spoiled stuff. I helped her so the process would go along faster.
Once that was finished, I helped her do the dishes, then the both of us washed our hands. I turned to her, asking what she was in the mood for. She shrugged and replied, "Surprise me."
