Sudden Kiss - Chapter 5

_The next night_

Irene got a call from her manager at the restaurant she works there as a waitress.

Irene POV

My manager called me and I know it's gonna be a bad news to me.

My manager told me to quit. He said that there is some costumers that complain about me.

This not the first time and it happens all the time.

Flashbacks*

Jisoo poured the coffee to her dress and caused a scene at my working place. Her other friends also did the same the next day after that, my manager fired me.

"Jisoo why do you keep bugging me? Leave me alone please."

"Because of you my dad and brother doesn't talk to each other now, you ruined our family!"

"I'll never let you live happily." She whispered.

_End of flashbacks_

Irene decided to not participate in the
field trip. She has to find a job, she needed money for her brother and to pay her dept.

Jennie recommended her a bar where her other friends work. Jennie was hesitating to let Joohyun work there but Irene told her that she really need a job.

"Joohyun ahh, you working at the bar worries me are you sure with this?"

"Promise me you won't mention this to bogum okay? He'll probably tell this to Taeyung and we might fight about it"

Irene successfully got accepted as a bar tender there.She also worries about herself but she needed this job.

The class already started Irene is absent. Seulgi told the teacher that Irene can't make it to the field trip. The teacher knows her situation so she understand her.

"Ohhh that's sad." Jisoo pretend that she's sad about it.

"Oh come on don't pretend like you don't like it" Jennie said and glare at her.

Suho POV

I wonder why she can't make it. If she don't come then I won't go there too. 

Why do I keep thinking about her? It's not like I like her or what right?
Definitely not!!

Jin's POV

I saw her working at my favorite drinking place. She looks really tired I feel bad about it. If only my father likes her, this won't happen.

Someone tapped my back. I looked back to see who it was. It turned out to be Suho.

"You go here too? What a coincidence I like going here too."

"Ah no I don't go here it just happened I'm here."I replied

"I have a question for you Suho. What is your relationship with Joohyun? Why are you tailing her." As I walked closer to his face.

"And what about you huh!?" With a glare on his face.

"I'm his ex boyfriend. Any problem with that?" I whispered to him.

"So what about it? You're just her mere ex"

The tension was hot between them outside the bar. The actions of the costumer towards Irene had broked the tension between them. He was fully drunk and he's trying to harass Irene.

The two boys saw it and entered the bar. Jin hold the man's hand and let suho punched him.

Irene POV

I'm really scared many people was there but no one tried to stop him. I want to fight back but I'm afraid I might get fired.

I was embarrassed and glad at the same time. Suho and Jin saved me from that drunked man. I told them to stop but they don't listen.

The guards finally came to stop them.

"Are you okay?" Suho asked me

"Uhmm I fine you didn't have to do that"

"What do you mean don't are you stupid or what? he's hurting you!" Jin said with his red face.

Jin offered me a ride. He grabbed my right hand. I was about to enter but someone snatch my left hand, It's Suho. Ji told him to let go but he didn't.

"Let's just ask her then." Suho said confidently.

I know Jin will be mad but I told to let me go. I was indepted to Suho so I need to side with him.

Before leaving I remembered I forgot something at the bar so I go back inside.

Suho's POV

I can feel that this man Jin has still feelings
for her.

"Do you still want her?" I asked.

"Why do you care." He gaze at me.

"Well then may the best man win" I said and glare at him back.
