Sudden Kiss - Chapter 46

"Who wants some brownies?!" said the tall guy who's offering everyone with his food.

"Who eats brownies this early in the morning Hoseok?!" Hwasa took the brownies anyways.

"Hmm. That's tasty. Joohyun try some!" I couldn't even say a word when a piece of brownies went right in my mouth in an instant.

"Hmm. They taste like... brownies!"

"They're supposed to taste like brownies aren't they?" Wendy says bitterly.

"See? I told you Wendy! My brownies tastes great."

"Whatever. Just get those out of my sight." She rolled her eyes busy typing on her keyboard.

"Gross. You're calling these brownies?!" Wendy tossed it to the trashcan.

"Wendy? Is everything alright? Why are you... Not so... you today?" I asked.

"Yeah." Hwasa and Hoseok seconded.

"Why are letting it out on my poor brownies?' Hoseok faked a cry.

I know something is wrong about her.

"What are you guys saying? I'm acting the same as me bef-"

"No! .." the three of us said at the same time.

"Alright. My bad. I'm sorry..  it's just that.. my husband forgot that today is our 4th wedding anniversary." She sighed disappointedly feeling all down.

"And what made you believe he has forgotten about that?"

"Joohyun. I was so excited waking up hoping he prepared something to surprise me but there's no any except the omelette he always prepares." She faced down.

"Wendy maybe he's preparing it for this evening." Hoseok wants to pat her but before he could, Hwasa blocked him and she pats her instead.

"You guys don't understand, in our past anniversaries he always surprises me the moment the sun sets up." She sobs softly.

"Or maybe.. he's busy with something you don't want him to be busy with that's why he has forgotten about it. Nasty boys!"

"Hey! Hwasa! That doesn't make her feel better." I smacked her forehead making her groan.

"Joohyun! Why did you do that to my precious forehead!" She whined.

"Sorry but I meant to do that." I teased.

"And Hwasa boys are not nasty as you think they are." Hoseok glared and quickly cutted his fangs when he saw Hwasa glares back.

"Joohyun do you think my husband is cheating on me?" Wendy held my hand.

All I could do is to wipe her tears for her. " Wendy why can't you trust your husband? I'm sure he wouldn't dare to do what you are thinking right now." I decided to give her a hug to calm her.

"He better not cause if he has some guts to cheat on you, He'll have to cry blood." Hwasa crushed the brownies on her hand. A tough cookie with soft fillings..

"Aww. That's so sweet of you Hwasa but, please don't try to hurt my husband.

"I won't... if he doesn't deserve to." Hwasa made a suspecious smile.

"Guys! Better pretend you're all busy. I think Mr. Kim is already here." Hoseok quickly went back to the printing area.

"Don't worry about it Wendy. I know he won't forget about it." I assured her again.

"You sure?" Hwasa interrupted and I couldn't help but to shake my head.

"Hello Mr. CEO! Great morning!" Wendy greeted like she didn't cry earlier. What an hardworking worker here.
