Sudden Kiss - Chapter 22

Suho's POV

When I arrived at our house. I quickly ran to mom's room to check on her. She was perfectly fine thankfully. "Mom what's the matter? Are you okay?" I held her both hands. "Son I'm fine" She pinched my nose.

"Today is dad's birthday! Have you forgotten?" Sooyoung shook her head in disbelief. "Sooyoung ah--" "Son let's just have breakfast together hmm? You're dad will be away today. You know how busy he was right?" Mom cut me off. She must have known I'm going to scold this brat for using mom to summon me here.

"What about Joohyun? Where is she?" What am l supposed to say she's drunk last night so I can't bring her here. Ofcourse I need to make up excuses. " She is not feeling well mom. So I didn't wake her up." She will not actually get sick right?  Mom chuckled.

"Why mom?" I asked in curiosity why she chuckled. "Don't be hard to her son. I remember when your dad and I are still newlyweds I keep on feeling not well because he always---"

"Mom! I'm still here! Why are you letting me here this kind of things!?" She rolled her eyes and walked out. "I'm sorry daughter but aren't you old enough for this? Soon enough you will find a man for you." She chuckled and yelled to let Sooyoung hear her.

We can't even sleep together mom. Hayysst. And why would we though? It's not like we're married. She will eventually leave me like what is under the contract.

"Mom I have to go my wife must be waiting for me" I kissed her forehead to bid goodbye. "Oppa please mom wants this. It's not like this is hard to do and besides sister in law must be still sleeping now. You made her sick and now you can't even grant what mom wants? Thanks to her you got to get married."

I put my index fingers on my ears  to cleanse my ears.
"Yahh! Sooyoung ah! I'm your older brother! How dare you lecture me!." I pointed at her but she just ignored me.

We've been waiting for dad for almost an hour but he didn't showed up. He must be celebrating with her mistress. I feel sorry to mom. She doesn't deserve a man like him. You see mom is sick like this and he doesn't seem to bother. I hate him so much.

"So what now? We prepared all of this but he's not here! Maybe he already left not bothering to tell us." I took my phone to call at the company since he is not picking up my calls.

"I'm sorry sir but he already left for his business trip." I hear the worker at our company say.

"It's okay maybe he has just forgotten about his birthday. You know your dad." Mom put on a fake smile trying to console us and herself. "That's right oppa. Understand him he's a busy man."

I saw mom stopping her tears from falling. I feel so bad for her. I hate dad. For real.
"Are we just going to stare at the food? Let's eat." I suggested and I removed the candles on the cake. "Mrs. Choi take this cake away." I smiled and I started eating. Mom started eating and Sooyoung too.

We finished our celebration that became a breakfast instead. Joy left for school. I walked mom to her room and bid my bye I'll be heading to the office for work. I wonder what's happening at home I hope she's doing fine. Yes she is right? I already prepared food for her. I might get home at evening but not a problem we have plenty of food on the refrigerator.

Irene's POV

"That bastard he didn't even told where is he. Am I his pet or something!" I told to myself. I layed my back to the couch watching TV in the living room. I was about to call Taeyung to tell him to come over but door bell ringing 1 time, 2 Times, 3, times and so on. Bissss does this person doesn't know how to wait or is he/ she even a human??

To answer my curiosity I opened the door. "Surprise!" I hear these four kids say. As expected they are not in unison. Bogum was late for 2 seconds. Maybe he's not aware or aware but hesitating to.  My squad is here. And they didn't even told me they would. Ofcourse it's a surprise duh. How stupid of me.
