MARVEL'S 'PHOENIX AND SPECTRUM' MOVIE HAS OFFICIALLY FINISHED FILMING, AND WE'RE ALL HYPED!
E!News | 30th August 2020
After two months of preparation and filming, the 'Phoenix and Spectrum' cast have wrapped filming in LA. The film was first announced by Marvel Director Kevin Feige in June of this year, and was kept pretty under wraps until filming started in July, where we were blessed with many behind the scenes photos from both the cast and crew, exciting the fans even more.
The newest Marvel production is set to be released at a premiere in November of this year, so fans won't have to wait long for Jack Harper (Sherlock Holmes) and Beatrix Steele (Mila Kunis) to come to their screens! When the movie was first announced, the public were shocked to discover that London's Consulting Detective, Sherlock Holmes, would be playing one of the leading roles. Holmes has not had any previous experience of acting, but there have been several reports from people working on the movie that the detective has fit the role well, and is a perfect actor.
As of yet, we haven't seen any photos of Phoenix and Spectrum's superhero costumes, as the outfits have been kept under wraps for the whole of filming. We also don't know what to expect, seen as Phoenix and Spectrum aren't characters from the Marvel Comics, but rather a scrapped idea from Stan Lee just two years before he died, which the producers and writers at Marvel developed for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Mila and Sherlock had reportedly been in talks for a while about portraying the characters, and had a lot of input on what they would look like, what they would wear, and especially their storyline and how they fit in to the MCU. In the credits recently released by IMDB, Sherlock also seems to be one of the four executive producers on the movie, which possibly hints at future roles, both in and out of Marvel.
What characters would you like to see Sherlock Holmes portray?
