NEW MARVEL MOVIE 'PHOENIX AND SPECTRUM' CONFIRMED BY KEVIN FEIGE

Recently there has been speculation that the Marvel comic characters Phoenix (Beatrix Steele) and Spectrum (Max Harper) might be coming to the big screen within the next couple of years. Now, it's not just speculation - Marvel Director Kevin Feige announced yesterday that Phoenix and Spectrum is already in pre-production, and is set to start filming some time within the next month. And although we're excited to see our favourite comic characters come to life, what's more interesting is the cast!
Bad Moms actor Mila Kunis is set to play Phoenix, Beatrix Steele, who had already been a popular choice when the movie was first rumoured. What fans weren't expecting, however, was London's Consulting Detective, Sherlock Holmes, to be cast as Spectrum, Max Harper. Also in the movie will be Elizabeth Olsen reprising her role as Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff, and Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan and Robert Downey Jr. all returning to their characters. Another new face to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Debbie Findlay, who will be playing Hydra leader Sorina Antonov.
It seems that Sherlock will be making his acting debut in the Marvel movie after being asked to audition by casting directors, who had imagined someone like Holmes for the role of Spectrum from the very start. Although he has no previous history in the arts, it has been reported that his skills in acting come natural to him. On 15th January 2012, Sherlock Holmes 'fell to his death' off the top of St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, returning after faking his death two years later in 2014. He faced lots of backlash from the public after his return, but his fans were relieved that the detective, now actor, wasn't actually dead.
The question we're all asking now is; Will we want to see Sherlock reprise his role as Max Harper after the Phoenix and Spectrum movie?
