REAL LIFE

Rachel was no longer scared of Sherlock. In fact, she'd concluded that he was actually a really nice man, just as Mila had said. But there was just one problem with not being scared of him, and that was the fact that she'd realised just how attractive he was. She'd flirted with him in the comments on Instagram and over message, but they were only friendly jokes. Or at least, that's what she had been telling herself before she actually got a good look at the man in person, and realised that her compliments were not misplaced at all.

"Are you actually going to dress me or just carry on gawking?" Rachel turned to Sherlock, finally taking her eyes off the food table in her trailer.

"I can't believe there's so much food - all for me! I mean, of course I'm going to get terribly fat, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to ensure that none of these babies," she spoke, picking up a doughnut from the plate, "go to waste." Sherlock narrowed his eyes at her as she took a bite, wondering if she was actually being serious.

"You know, if I don't get to set in my costume in," he checked his watch, "thirty minutes, we're both going to get fired. Stop eating the food and start working!" He took the doughnut from her hand, taking a bite from it as she huffed and headed towards the clothing rail.

"You'll undo all those months of training with that, you know." Sherlock shrugged, leaning against the food table as he finished the doughnut.

"I was too thin in the first place. My trainer's first instruction for me was to gain weight before I gained muscle, so I doubt this'll do anything too drastic." Rachel pulled the Spectrum costume from the rail, removed the plastic cover and hung it on the door.

"So, what d'ya think? Spectrum's official superhero costume!" Sherlock scrutinised it for a few moments, lifting the arms up and testing the elasticity with an impassive look on his face. The main fabric of the suit was stretch cotton, dyed and printed to look like black leather with green detailing. Rachel was starting to doubt herself when he turned to her and smiled.

"It's perfect. You did a good job, don't worry." She exhaled jokingly, sagging in relief.

"Thank god. Imagine that - sacked on my first day for creating a monstrosity of an outfit. Not extremely uncharacteristic of me, though. Sounds like my sort of bad luck." Rachel continued looking at the outfit fondly, no idea that Sherlock was looking at her the exact same way.
