and so, we planned a day.
August 9th.

Walking over to my wall, I lay my finger down on August 1st and drag my hand down the calendar to the 9th.
You don't really realize you're anticipating something until your constantly checking your calendar like the date will magically change.

8 days.

"Time moves so slow!"
I slam my calendar shut.

- small time skip -

eggs...eggs...WHERE THE HELL ARE THE EGGS!!?

This morning I wanted to make sunny side up but when I opened the fridge I was missing the one ingredient I needed.
Eggs.
So now i'm practically sprinting around the supermarket looking for the sight of egg cartons.

Ive checked every aisle, every fridge, and there's no sight of them! When I went to ask an employee they were busy doing something else.

god I just want breakfast!

"George??? What the hell are you doing!?" I look up to see Wilbur standing over me.
"You've been running around the market like a complete idiot!"
"well..." Looking over into his cart of groceries I see it. The one ingredient I need.
"How much for the eggs?"
"What???" Wilbur looks over at me surprised

"You heard me Wil, how much for the eggs??"
"Okay, okay, why don't you have breakfast with me...i'm not giving up these eggs."

Wilburs house was different than I imagined.
I expected there to be light colored walls, his plants and guitars scattered everywhere.
But it was just normal.
A small little house with an open concept.

"Why do you look so surprised?" He asks
"i'm not sure it's just..not what I was expecting." I say
"Well" he starts "it does look okay right? I cleaned up earlier.."
"No, No! It looks great!" I cut in
"oh thank god! I was not cleaning up again! So why don't you sit down and i'll make the eggs?"

"So.." Wilbur picks up his egg with a fork "what ever happened with dream?"
"Did I not tell you...?" I look up at him
"no?"
"We're meeting up."

Wilbur chokes on his food and looks at me shocked.
"YOU'RE WHAT?!"
"We're meeting up...."
"AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME SOONER?!" He shouts
"LISTEN IT ALL HAPPENED SO FAST I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!?!"

"Okay okay..When are you meeting?"
"In 8 days.."
"you're...in 8...Jesus christ thats soon"
"Like I said! It all happened super fast!!"
"And you're traveling there i'm guessing?" he asks
"Yeah I am, I'll get to experience something new you know?" I respond
"Yeah I get it.."

"Well Wilbur thank you for the food!" I set my plate down in the sink and start to head for the door
"You're already leaving?! You just got here!"
"Listen...If I don't get home now and start packing i'll procrastinate until last minute and panic."
"fair enough"
"Bye Wil!" I shout
"Yep bye George!"

What the hell do you bring when you leave the country???
I have my suitcase wide open on my bed with shirts and other clothes laying all around it.
I have the basic needs, toothbrush, deodorant, brush, and so on.

But clothes? I have no clue.
Where Clay lives the weather is warm, so probably t-shirts and shorts....?
but what if I get chilly.....

How long am I even going to stay for?????

Oh screw it!
I start throwing random clothes into the suitcase and hope that it all works out.

Then my phone rings, interrupting the chaos of throwing random clothes.

Thought you might want to know what to pack, soo! I made a list!
1. T-shirts
2. Shorts
3. sweatpants
4. A jacket!
You probably won't need the sweatpants but they're good to have!!

I'm not really sure how long we talked for but my suitcase never got packed.

Soon i'll be going back and editing a lot of the chapters, there's tons of spelling mistakes that really annoy me and maybe some scenes I want to add to certain chapters.
