"Can I ask you a favor?" Amelia asked as they drove down the street of Seattle.
"Go for it." Atticus said nonchalantly as he turned a corner onto another street of lights and buildings.
"I'd like to see the red room again." Amelia said as she turned to look at Atticus.
"Last time you saw it, you left and I went to Paris and we both slept with different people. I don't need it, if we are trying again the red room has to stay out of it." Atticus said as he gripped the steering wheel harder, not in the mood to have another argument.
"I just wasn't ready. But I just want to look around." Amelia said as she crossed her legs in the car's leather seat.
"I don't need it. I want this to work so I think it's best if the red room stays out of the equation." Atticus said as he turned into the parking garage.
"What's the point of buying me a car if I don't even get to drive it?" Amelia laughed as she un did her seatbelt.
"To be nice. And you do, you drive it to work and to your brothers and a bunch of places." Atticus answered as he turned the car off.
Amelia and Atticus walked up to the elevator and as it opened on his floor Atticus hung his jacket on the hanger before walking into the dark kitchen and flipping the lights on.
"I'm going to go shower. Unless you want to go first." Amelia stuttered as Atticus took out the bottle of bourbon.
"Oh sorry. You can chose whatever shower you want. There's about 50." Atticus apologized as he put the bourbon back into the locked liquor cabinet.
"Thank you. I'll be back. Or you could join me." Amelia said in a teasing voice as she pulled her top over her head, looking back at Atticus as she undid her bra clasp.
That was all it took for Atticus to follow her simultaneously beginning to take his clothes off. By the time Atticus made it to the bathroom, Amelia was naked under the burning hot water.
Running her fingers through her wet hair.
Atticus stepped into the shower immediately attacking her lips. Amelia's hand ran up his back and to the nap of his neck.
Atticus deepens the kiss pressing Amelia's back to the cold tile of shower making her gasp. Atticus traveled to her neck kissing her sweet spot eliciting a moan from Amelia.
-
"I'm tired." Atticus said he put on his pajama bottoms and shirt.
"Did I tire you out?" Amelia teased as she pulled her shirt over her head.
"Yes you and work. But mostly you." Atticus said kissing her cheek before walking to the kitchen.
"We should do something tomorrow." Amelia smiled as she sat herself on the counter.
"Like what?" Atticus questioned as he grabbed the cherries out of the refrigerator and placing them into a bowl sliding it to Amelia.
"Just anything. We could do the shower thing again." Amelia teased as she popped the cherry into her mouth.
"We could. I enjoyed it." Atticus ran his fingers through Amelia's hair.
After the house lights had been turned off, Atticus was fast asleep on his side of the bed. Amelia made sure he was living with how little he moved at night.
Amelia slowly crept off her side of the bed, grabbing the magnetic key from the bowl in the kitchen and walking her way up the stairs.
Amelia stood at the familiar black door mentally preparing herself to see it again. Amelia held the magnet up and click.
Amelia took the sound of the deadbolt and pushed the door open. The lights immediately faded into view as Amelia stepped in.
Everything pristine and in place, clearly hadn't been touched which made Amelia feel a little better.
Amelia placed the key on a cabinet as she walked around quietly. Amelia's finger tips grazed over many objects yet she had no clue what most of them did or what they were for.
"Can I help you find something?" Atticus' firm voice said from the doorway causing Amelia to jump slightly.
"I just wanted to see it. That's all." Amelia confessed crossing her arms in front of her chest.
"I don't think it's a good idea, let's go to bed." Atticus said gesturing out of the door.
"No." Amelia said beginning to stand her ground.
"Excuse me?" Atticus asked now raising his eyebrows.
"I know you're used to the world revolving around you, that's why you have this place. But I'm telling you no. I want to see it, I want to know what exactly you want from this room specifically from me in here." Amelia said in a demanding tone.
"So what you're telling me, is you wanna play?" Atticus smirked as he watched Amelia's eyes grow wider and her head nod quickly.
"Yes." Amelia yelped as Atticus threw her over his shoulder whacking her butt with his palm.
"Let's play then." Atticus said in a deep voice as he tossed Amelia onto the leather bed.
