It had been maybe less than 2 weeks. Atticus went about business and life, surely thinking of Amelia every chance he got.

Amelia couldn't think about anything other than Atticus. The kiss in the elevator, the kiss outside, it was like a secret fantasy she had read about as a teenager.

Amelia had read every inch of website, it spoke about the business he did, the way he conducted meetings, hiring process.

In reality Amelia would look at how assertive he looked in all the photos. Usually she was the one who liked to exercise the control but there was just something about the way he was controlling, that she didn't mind so much.

Amelia was brought back to reality of her bedroom as her phone rang. She picked it up and her heart fluttered seeing that Atticus was the late night caller.

"Hi." Amelia said trying to mask the excitement in her voice, so as to not sound desperate.

"Hi Ms. Shepherd. I'm not doing anything at the moment and if you aren't I was wondering if you would like to grab something to eat." Atticus said in his strong voice.

Amelia could hardly contain herself as she got up and stood at her closet trying to figure out what to wear.

"So where should I meet you?" Amelia asked as she threw on a top and some skinny jeans, stumbling to find her black leather booties.

"No need. I'll send Sergio. Just let me know your address." Atticus said, Amelia could here him grabbing something.

"Who is Sergio?" Amelia asked doing some quick light makeup standing in her mirror.

"One of my drivers. I got your address thank you. When you go in front of your house, just look for a 2021 black Cadillac Escalade. Sergio will flash the lights twice so that you know it's him." Atticus instructed as Amelia carefully walked down the stairs.

Amelia waited for sometime before the instructed car pulled up at the front of the house. The window rolled down and a man in a dark black suit with jet black hair greeted her.

"You must be Ms. Amelia Shepherd. Sergio, I'm here to take you to Mr. Lincoln." Sergio said as he unlocked the door of the car.

Amelia grabbed the handle of the passenger door and stepped up into the car.

"You have a very high car." Amelia chuckled nervously as she buckled her seatbelt.

"Not my car. The car Mr. Lincoln assigned to me." Sergio explained as he began to reverse out of the driveway.

The interior of the car perplexed Amelia. The latest technology filled the car and the sleek brown leather seats seemed to be brand new.

"So how many of you are there to assign?" Amelia asked looking out of the window at the sky.

"About 6, whatever car Mr. Lincoln choses is the one we drive. This is his business car. I use this to pick up associates. He has a personal car but none of us drivers have ever set foot in it." Sergio explained as he turned the dim lights of the car on for Amelia.

"Why would that be?" Amelia asked confused.

"He drives it himself, none of us use it." Sergio explained turning into the busy city.

"Why are we in the city?" Amelia chuckled as she admired the sky scrapers.

"Mr. Lincoln resides in the city. I'm taking you to his home." Sergio explained as he pulled into the parking garage of a large lit up building.

Once there Sergio escorted Amelia into the elevator until they reached floor 11. Stepping off the elevator Amelia was met with a dark room.

Floor to ceiling windows allowed the city to illuminate the room. Dark black marble floors with specks of gold stood underneath her feet and the fresh leather could be smelled as soon as you stepped in.

Large staircases and expensive items covered the penthouse. Atticus walked out in his dress clothes most likely after work.

"Good evening Ms. Shepherd." Atticus smiled as he took her hand in his.

"Hi." Amelia smiled, the darkness of the room covering her blush.

"Thank you Sergio. You are done for tonight." Atticus nodded towards Sergio as Sergio walked to the staircase.

"So what are we doing?" Amelia asked as he walked her to the living room.

"Well first, you need a tour. I believe." Atticus smirked.
