Summary: Following their talk in "Me Before You," Cassie and Ethan make their relationship public. Cassie's nervous about how her friends will react while also wondering if Ethan would have regrets once they're out in the open.
Rating: Teen. Mostly fluff. Some suggestive language as they can get very flirty on text
Cassie knew it was still early, but her friends would be awake as, unlike her, they didn't haven't any issues waking up at the crack of dawn. After a year of early morning rounds and on-call nights, her body clock had slowly adjusted to hospital life. Okay, if she were honest, there had been some mornings (more than she would admit to) when getting up at the crack of dawn was practically impossible for her. On more than one of those occasions her friends, and even Ethan when she stayed over, had had to take drastic measures to get her out of bed.
Checking the time again (yes, she was stalling), she opened their group chat thinking about what she'd say and how they'd react. Her friends loved her—she knew they did—but the nerves wouldn't go away.

While her friends chatted on text, Cassie pulled up the app on her phone and looked up Insomnia, the new brunch spot that had opened in their neighborhood. She and Sienna had passed by the place a few times but hadn't managed to find the time to go there yet. Luckily, they had a table available at 11 and she booked it before she could rethink the whole thing.
