Rantaro x Reader 🌸

"Y/n, are you ready to watch the movie?" Rantaro questioned. I had come to his house to have a short movie date. Because of the pandemic , this was the first time I had seen Rantaro in months. 

"I'll be ready soon! Just give me a minute." I replied. I quickly grabbed a bag of chips and a drink, then returned to Rantaro. "Okay, what do you want watch" "How about a scary movie?" I suggest. Rantaro chuckled. "We both know there is know way you'll be able to sleep if you watch something like that. But if you want to risk it, go ahead I guess!" I pouted and playfully pushed Rantaro away. "Wow, do you have that little faith in me? I'll be fine!" Rantaro shook his head, and began looking through a stack of movies.

"Does this look good?" He said, holding out a movie. "Sure!" I agreed. We sat down on the couch, and draped a blanket over both of us. 

As the movie started, I leaned into Rantaro, getting ready for the movie. Five minutes into the movie, I was already scared enough that I just wanted to turn it off. Rantaro looked over at me with concern. "We can change the movie if you'd like." I immediately shake my head. "I-i'm fine." "Alright." Rantaro says. He gives me a quick kiss on the forehead and continues watching the movie. I focus on eating my chips, and after a while notice Rantaro has drifted asleep next to me. I play with his hair for a moment, but stop when I feel him shift positions. Rantaro sleepily opens his eyes and glances up toward me. "What are you doing? Don't stop. It's...nice." "Oh. Okay." I respond. I place my hand back on his head, and feel his breathing start to slow down as he falls back asleep.

After about an hour, the movie ends, and I slowly reach over to grab the TV remote. I spent the rest of the night binge watch shows while Rantaro slept beside me. Sadly, Rantaro was right, and I barely slept at all that night.
