Kaede x Reader 🌸

Sorry this is so short! Having some trouble with writers block and just wanted to get this finished.

"Itssss punishment time!" Monokuma tells. I watch in pure horror as a chain clamps around the neck of the blond haired girl beside me.  

"Kaede!" I cry out as she is dragged away from me. She reaches out a hand, and I rush to grab it. Kaede is pulled away before I can catch her hand, and I'm forced to watch as she is strangled in the punishment made for her.

I sob as her body hangs limply in front of me, and shut my eyes. I let my mind wander, and try to distract myself from Kaede's corpse hanging nearby. I turn away from the body, and my vision is blurred with my tears. I shut my eyes again, to try and clear my vision.

When I open my eyes again, I am in bed laying beside my girlfriend Kaede. An alarm clock beside me shows it is 4:02 in the morning. I pull the covers off me, and start to get out of bed. Kaede shifts in bed, and turns toward me. "Y/n?" she whispers "What are you doing?" "Oh, I just had a nightmare." I respond. She gestures for me to sit down beside her, and I lay next to her with my head on Kaede's shoulder. 

"So, what was your nightmare about?" I squirm uncomfortably before answering. "We were trapped in some sort of sick game where you had to kill to escape. You killed someone, and got caught. The rules of the game stated that if a murderer was caught, they were punished. I had to watch them kill you." 

Kaede looked at me with horror on her face. "Oh y/n, that must have been awful." She gave me a quick peck on the cheek. "Luckily it wasn't real, and I'm right here." She grabs my hands, and gives them a tight squeeze. "I'm not going anywhere...I promise."
