Clarke went into the dorm to only find Maya, Monty, Harper, and Jasper. She scanned around the room for Ace, but didn't see the small girl anywhere.
"Where's Ace?" Clarke asked, getting the attention of the group of teens. "She isn't with you?" Jasper asked, Clarke eyes widen as the color of her face begin to wash away.
"No, we were separated." Clarke said, as panic begun to set in.
"Clarke, calm down. Maybe she's exploring or in the Mess Hall," Harper said, attempting to calm the blonde down.
"Let's just go to breakfast and see if she's there," Jasper said, standing up. He turns to Maya, "hey, you wanna join us to breakfast?"
"Sure, id love to." Maya responses before an alarm started to go off.
Maya turns back to Jasper and the group, "um, save me a seat, okay? Sorry." She begin to rush to the door.
Clarke rushed after her and grabbed Maya's wrist, "hey! What's going on?" Clarke yelled.
Maya sighed, "that signal means the surface patrol is back and someone needs medical attention. I have to go quarantine."
Maya ran walked out of the dorms, Clarke begin to exit the doors Maya went out of, before Jasper stopped her.
"Hey, Clarke. What are you doing?" Jasper said, as he ran down the hall in the direction of Clarke, stopping once he was by her side.
"Maybe they found survivors. If our peole are hurt, we have a right to know." Clarke says, continuing to follow Maya.
"Clarke, I'm pretty sure we shouldn't just go wandering around." Jasper said, following Clarke.
Clarke and Jasper hid behind a wall as Maya begin to speak with one of the male doctors. "What are we dealing with?" Maya asked.
"They were attacked. One dead, he's in room two. The other took off his gloves and mask to treat him. He's still in decon, but he'll need treatment as soon as he's processed through." The male doctor explained.
"Who attacked them?" Clarke asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
Clarke and Jasper walked into the quarantine ward, Jasper trying to make Clarke slow down.
"Clarke, slow down! Stop pushing so hard, These people are..." Jasper stops himself as he saw the man who was attacked.
"Are lying to us. That's a bullet wound, Grounders don't use guns." Clarke argued.
"Unless the Grounders got the guns from us." Jasper said.
"I don't think so, I think our people are alive out there." Clarke said.
The women they have heard as Dr.Tsing comes in with two doctors carrying a radiation burned man is brought into a bed.
The female doctor's eyes widen once they saw the two kids in there, "get them out of here." She yelled, Jasper and Clarke left the quarantine ward. Clarke had the look of being determination as she walks to the mess hall and finds Dante.
"We need to talk," Clarke said to Dante, continuing to walk into the mess hall. Dante looked at the blonde.
"Sure, let's talk over breakfast." Dante replied, grabbing a plate of breakfast and leading Clarke to a table and sits down.
"Who shot that soldier?" Clarke asked bluntly, Dante looked at Clarke with his eyebrows raised, surprised she knew of such a thing.
"The patrol was looking for your people was attacked by what you call Grounders." Dante said, taking a bite of bacon.
"I fought Grounders, they don't use guns." Clarke said.
"I never mentioned guns. Sergeant Shaw was shot by an arrow." Dante informed her, keeping a stern gaze on her.
"That's not true, I...I saw the wound." Clarke said, furrowing her eyebrow and titling her head to side as she tries to rethink on what she saw.
"Sometimes, we feel so strongly about our people we see things that aren't there." Dante said to Clarke.
"I'd like to see the body." Clarke said.
"Of course, come with me."
Ace groaned as she opened her groggy eyes, she felt a pounding pain on the back of her where she was hit in the back of the gun. Once her vision cleared, she realized that she was in a cage in the room where she had seen a ground being hung upside down with tubes and wires coming out of him.
The door opened an in came doctor Tsing, she walked down the small ally of cages. She had stopped infront of Ace's cage, "this one." She said, pointing right at Ace, before she had gotten to open the cage, a guard came in and told the doctor that she was needed, she glared at Ace who sent a glare back at her, before she had walked away and out of the room.
Clarke walked into the dorm, pretty annoyed at this whole situation. She can't fine Ace, the people here are lying fucks, her people is out there, possibly in trouble. Jasper is not seeing the bigger picture of this place, worried that will get the poor boy killed.
Jasper stood up and joined Clarke on her walk further into the dorm. "What did President Wallace say?"
Clarke sighed and dragged her hand through her hair stressfully, "He showed me Shaw's body. It looked like an arrow wound."
"Well, maybe because it is an arrow wound." Jasper said, sitting down on one of the bed after Clarke sat.
"Or that's what they want us to think." Clarke snapped, Jasper gave her a look. "What? They could have doctored it."
"Clarke, you sound like a crazy person. Why do you want to screw this up for us?" Jasper snapped back.
"Look around, Ace is gone! She was here one minute and now she isn't, what do you think their doing with a 7 year old girl? Plus, I don't know what this is." Clarke snapped once again.
Jasper sighed, "this is....safe. this is food, a real bed, clothes and my personal favorite...not getting speared by Grounders. How long do you think they'll let us stay here if you keep this up?"
Clarke furrowed her eyesbrows, staring at the boy in disbelief, "did someone threaten you?" She asked.
"Heh. No. No. It's common sense. Look, we're guest here, not prisoners. What would you do with a guest who kept calling you a liar and generally acted like an ungrateful ass?" Jasper said, standing up.
"Kick the ungrateful ass out." Miller responded, earning chuckles and laughs from around the room.
"Right now, biggest threat to us is you."
