Ace opened her eyes, her ears ringing from the explosion. She sat up and looked around. Everything was in ruins, fire and smoke everywhere along with dead bodies, blood on the floor and on the fallen stone. Injured people laid there.
This was her fault, she failed. She failed to stop the bomb, she killed and injured all these people. She hurt everywhere, her arms and legs.
She doesn't know how she'll face everyone, her brother, Clarke, Lexa. She had let everyone down, shes a curseblood and this will not be forgiven.
Her whole body ache as she pushed herself onto her feet, she limped and wobbled into the woods. She stopped, deciding if she should take a look back. She decided against it, she can't stay here. She can't face what she did, what she failed to help stop.
She continued walking, more like limping in her case. Her ears were still ringing as she walked through the woods. She walked with her head down, feeling to weak to lift her head up, she didn't care where she was going. She just needed to leave.
She heard the yells in the distance, coming from behind her. She just kept walking, she just couldn't care where she was going.
At the burning village, Abby walked into from the wounds. She was still recovering from shock that Clarke allowed this happen.
"I need a medic!" Abby heard a fimilar voices called, she rushed over to find Nyko with another female who was injured.
"Right here." Abby said as she rushed over at the two, keeping an eye out for Ace.
Abby tried to revive the girl, nyko had already given up on her. Long story short, Nyko told Abby they save those who can be saved, that caused her to stop helping the girl who wouldn't have made it.
Abby walked off and saw Lincoln and Octavia, she sighed of relief once she saw the couple and rushed over to them.
"Lincoin, be careful. It's not stable." Octavia said, ever since they walked into the ruins of the village. Lincoin was hellbent on fighting survivors, especially Ace, Anya, indra, Clarke and Lexa.
"There's people down there." Lincoin said, looking down in a hole that was covered with rocks.
"Do you hear someone?" Abby said as she walked up from behind the couple. Octavia turned around and sighed in relief once she saw the older women was alive and well.
"Abby, I'm sure Clarke's ok, we'll find her." Octavia said, not knowing anything that happened. Abby smiled a small fake smile with a head nod before helping Lincoin lift a rock that held someone under it.
"Octavia, she's alive. Its indra!" Lincoin yelled before he picked up the injured women.
"Put me down, reaper." Indra spat at Lincoln in trigedasleng, he nodded and put her down on a rock so Abby could tend to her wounds.
Indra stood up but a gunshot was heard, before she had collapsed once more with a bullet wound on her shoulder.
"Octavia!" Lincoln shouted.
They had taken cover, but indra still laid hurt in the open. Lincoln stayed behind the cover, looking at indra.
"Indra, let me help you!" Lincoln yelled.
Indra glared at him, "no!" She yelled back, suddenly someone came running to cover, grabbing indra on the way. Anya came behind the cover, carrying Indra.
"Anya!" Octavia shouted, happy and relieved to see the girl but also worried at the girls wounds.
"The sniper has us trapped, has anyone seen Ace?" Anya said as she looked at the group, the group shook their head no. Anya's face paled as she looked at Lincoin.
"You and I will go find the sniper," she said to him, he nodded. She turned her head towards Octavia, "you stay here, find survivors." Octavia nodded.
Anya and Lincoin sprinted as quick as they can, going to cover to cover til they were close enough to the woods before they sprinted straight for the woods.
Lexa and Clarke walked through the woods, once they heard another gunshot. They hid behind the trees.
"The spotter. He aimed the missile, he's alone." Clarke informed Lexa, talking quietly.
"Clarke, slow down. If he's a spotter he's here to make sure we're dead, along with Ace. If he tells the mountain we're alive-" Lexa says but was soon, cut off by Clarke.
"Ace could already be dead, we sent her to her death and he won't be telling the mountain anything." Clarke snapped quietly, as she pulled out her gun from her belt.
Lexa narrowed her eyes at her, "how can you be sure?" She asked her.
"Because, I'm gonna kill him." Clarke said bluntly.
"And how can you be sure about Ace?" Lexa said, raising her chin at the girl. Clarke sighed as she looked down.
"Because, I saw her running where the missile landed before I left trying to get my mother out. She was too late, she couldn't stop it." Clarke said as she closed her eyes, hoping to stop the tears that were about to fall.
For the past hour, Clarke and Lexa went to tree to tree, being as quiet as they can letting the darkness do most of their hiding for them.
"It'll be light soon, we won't have the the darkness to hide us for much longer." Lexa said as she turned her head to look over at the girl.
Clarke's face harden as she checked how many bullets she had in her gun, "neither will he."
"I feel your anger, Clarke." Lexa said to her, Clarke sighed as she looked at the girl.
"Do me a favor, no more lessons." Clarke said, moving to a different tree with Lexa following.
"You need to focus, we do what we must to survive the enemy does the same. It's not personal." Lexa said to her again, hoping to calm the blonde down.
"Yes we do what we must to to survive, but does that mean sending a 7 year old child to their death? So, it is personal to me." Clarke snapped at her, Lexa sighed.
Clarke turns to go to a different tree to be closer to the sniper before Lexa grabbed her arm, turning her back around to face her, "you think killing that shooter will make you feel better but it won't. The only thing that will do that is winning this war."
"Thats enough." Clarke said to Lexa before they heard footsteps heading to them. They faced that direction, Clarke raised her gun, getting ready to shoot if needed.
"Is it him?" Lexa asked, looking at Clarke.
Anya and Lincoln came from the trees, Clarke sighed in relief as she shook her head no, "no, its Anya and Lincoin."
Lexa's eyes widen before she came out from behind the tree, looking at Anya and Lincoin before rushing over to tuem and hugging them both, which they accepted happily and quite confused.
"Clarke, Commander what- Octavia said you were both-" Anya started, didn't get to finish before Clarke perked up at Octavia's name being said and didn't let her finish.
"You've seen Octavia?" Clarke asked.
Anya nodded before Lincoin started to speak, "the few that survived the explosion is being pinned down by a sniper. That's why Anya and I are here."
"Have you two seen Ace?" Anya asked, Clarke and Lexa shook their head no before they looked down.
