"she's hereeee" maggie sings with a little laugh staring at billie. she sits down next to me placing a kiss on my nose.

"hey bil, how'd you sleep?" i smile at her.

"i slept good, you've been helping my night terrors like- all week." she tells me, holding onto my thigh

i blush a little and then claudia clears her throat to get out attention.

"ladies i think we should go shopping, you know.. have a 'girls day' while we are here for the week." she smiles widely at us.

"well idk i-" i say but claudia stops me, putting her index finger over my mouth. "i'm not taking no for an answer. let's go girls!"

she gets up and grabs billies arm to get her up then me, and then she starts walking towards the door.

she's a very straight forward person, just like billie. and she doesn't let you say no. i'm scared of claudia but shes my best friend so..

maggie looks at us and lips "help me" before turning around and following claudia.

once we get to the mall Claudia drags Maggie away to go to all the soap stores i assume- so i ask billie if she wants to go to build a bear, duh.
"wanna go to bab?"

"DO I??? FUCK YEAHHH! LETS GO BABE!" she yells sprinting to the store.

i grab her arm and pull her back "babe you can't run or yell in a mall you're famous and a grown ass adult."

"shit- people are staring we gotta go we messed up..." she says putting her head down and her hoodie up, running out..

i stand in shock for a second before i notice Claudia and Maggie running over to me, and Claudia pulling my jacket over my head and rushing us out..

when we get out we see people surrounding Billie.

are you and this mystery girl dating?? did you and ava break up? are you cheating? just friends? polly relationship? a bunch of bullshit.

"it's none of your business." billie tells them and they take a few pictures of me then Claudia yells at them "SHE SAID BACK OFF" and then they run away whispering to each other.

i see a tear go down billies cheek and i get her into the back of the car with me, Maggie in the passenger and Claudia in the driver seat.

billies obviously mad so i try calming her down and holding her. i don't wanna overwhelm her or anything, but 5 different people asking questions about ava definitely aren't going to help.

"i cant go anywhere without being seen.." she mumbles "it's gonna be okay baby" i say as her phone starts going off, texts, calls, mentions, everything. but that's not the only thing, my phone starts going off seconds after as well as claudia's, her fucking fans found my account.

i take her and billie stares at it for a second and nods. i open her phone to see a bunch of messages and tags in posts and shit in the news feed.

"IS THE BILLIE EILISH CHEATING ON ALLEGED GIRLFRIEND AVA MC'KAYLEE??"

"billie eilish' new girlfriend.."

"singer and songwriter of hit song bad guy  just came out..." she's been gay.
