It suddenly occurred to me that this was not the Portal I knew or had known. This place had a mysterious aura to it, one that sucked out all joy or delight. Black spots of despair and disdain seemed to seep through the walls as everyone flashed fake smiles at me. "Well, I'm screwed," I thought to myself. "Time to run the heck out of here!" I attempted to make a run for it, only to realize that Fakesworth had blocked my path. "Going so soon, my dear Mimi?" The menacing mushroom inquired. Beads of sweat poured out from every part of my body, as I stood there frozen like ice. I knew I was done for... "WAIT, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE??" I screamed, trying to run away. I suddenly noticed someone holding some type of cloth to my face. "Wait, please! I..." I could barely utter another word. I felt my body slowly shut down, as I dropped to the floor with a thud. "Sweet dreams, Mi..." Were the last words I heard before I blacked out.
"We finally made it!" Pit panted. "Phew, that was a tiresome run up the hill...?" The goddess looked at the angel inquisitively. "Dear Pit, who's 'we'? No one's here but you." She stated. The angel whirled around frantically only to realize that Mimi wasn't behind him. "WHERE IS SHE?" Pit panicked. "I left her in your hands Lady Palutena!" "In my hands!? You were the one that decided to go for a jog after congratulating her on her training!" The goddess hissed, pulling the angel by the ear. "Aw, c'mon, Lady Palutena! I needed a break! Ow! Don't be so rough!" Pit whined.
"Quit your laments. We're going to find her." The goddess reassured her servant. "How?" The goddess pulled out a GPS-like contraption from her cloak. "With this. Now, look carefully." The angel scanned the GPS screen for what seemed like an eternity, then finally noticed a big red dot in the middle of it. "It seems like Mimi's in the middle of nowhere. Are we supposed to go there?" Pit inquired. "Right you are! We just need to find a way in. I think I know what to do." Palutena answered.
