The alarm clock rang. "Hmmm..." I muttered. I got up out of bed, and ran down the stairs. "Mom, what time is it?" I asked. My mom looked at the clock. "10 am?! You're late for school! Big time!" Great, just great. My teacher was going to give me a detention. Just what every kid wants. NOT! I gobbled up my breakfast, changed my clothes, and grabbed my lunch. "Bye, sweetie!" My mom exclaimed. "Bye!" I replied and hurried out the door. Hi, my name is Peachy Marie, and I'm a sophomore in high school. I go to Greenwood high, home of the cobras. My favorite subject is art, and my least favorite subject is math. I'm very outgoing and friendly, smiling at everyone I meet. However, I can get angry at times. I also have a sweet tooth, and I'll eat any kind of cake! My hobbies are drawing, reading manga, and watching anime.

But anyway, enough about me, let's get back to the story! When I arrived at school, the students were chattering about their weekend, like usual. I ran inside and slammed the door open. "Sorry, Miss Smith! I – " My teacher interrupted me. "Why are you late?!" She screamed at me. "Detention for you!" She handed me a detention form. I sighed, sat in my seat, and scribbled for the rest of class. After my detention, my friend, Christine, got me some ice cream. "I heard you got detention." She stated. "I don't want to talk about it. I had a rough day." I replied. "Hey, cheer up! Everything will be fine." She reassured me. I smiled and gave her a hug. After talking for a few minutes, we split up. "Bye! Have a good day!" She screamed. "You too!" I shouted back and headed home. On the way home, I noticed something that looked like a green tent. "Huh? What's that?" I thought. "I've never seen that before." I was curious, so I stepped towards the tent. Only, it wasn't a tent. It was a green dome that was glowing! "Whoa! Maybe there's treasure inside!" I whispered to myself. I took a deep breath, and slowly went inside the dome!
