"So, our plan is to create a diversion, use my awesome telepathy to read the group of villains' thoughts, pierce their throats with arrows, use the three sacred treasures, and then hook me up with a sexy robot girlfriend?" Pit recalled. "I don't remember saying any of that in our plan." The goddess chuckled. "So, I'm not getting a girlfriend?" The Angel whined, showing a face of disappointment. "I didn't say that." replied the goddess with a smug look on her face. The angel's eyes lit up, a bright smile was shown across his face as he uttered the words, "I AM?! Holy crap! When do I get her?" "I didn't say you would get a girlfriend, either," the goddess retorted. "Well, actually..." Pit smirked at the lovely Palutena, and did an "ok" like sign with his hand. The two  headed off to find Mimi, the damsel in distress.

Meanwhile, at the actual portal, everyone was frantic. They wondered when the kind lass would soon return, and many were quite anxious for her, especially Ash ketchum. The poor lad had been searching for his lady love all the while but could not find her. He even broke into Giovanni's lair in hopes of finding her, but to no avail. All he received in return was the stealing of his dearest partner, Pikachu, who he eventually retrieved, and lost hope. He decided he wasn't going to mope any longer and ran off to find his beloved.

The angel and goddess looked high and low for Mimi, searching every nook and cranny, and sometime later, they finally came across what looked like the Portal itself, but something was off. This one was square and turned to the point where it looked like a safe instead of a door. Pit was the first to open the door, and surprisingly, he didn't have to lift a finger. He just lightly tapped it, and it swung open, as if it were expecting him all along. He entered the room only to be greeted with a wall. "Um, there's nothing... here?" Palutena flashed a curious look. "Pit, look for an opening in the wall." She instructed. "Okay, let's do this!" Pit answered with a grunt of affirmation. The angel pushed every part of the wall he possibly could, and after digging through some rubble, finally found an entrance. They both entered the lair, only to be greeted by someone singing ominously. "Round the bob tree... Death to dear Mimi... Death... Death.... DEATH!" The voice sang. "Lady Palutena, I think we should get out of here!" The angel whimpered. Palutena patted the angel's back reassuringly. "Don't worry, we'll make it out of here alive, Pit." The two walked on and eventually looked up and saw a young female hanging upside down by a rope over a bubbling cauldron. "No way, that's—" the angel was interrupted by a shrill sound of alarm coming from behind him. The sound got louder and louder until he finally was able to distinguish it. "Where is she?! Where the HELL is she?!" It was the sound of his doppelgänger. Pit turned around to greet him. "Good morrow, sir. How are my countrymen?" He inquired with a tone of elegance. "Cut the nobleman act, Pit stain." Dark Pit replied. He then extended a hand reluctantly and Pit shook it without hesitation. "Good to see you too, partner." The angel stated, smiling. "Good to have you back, Darkie." Said Palutena, smiling warmly. "We were just about to rescue Mimi." The doppelgänger whirled around frantically, saying, "Well? Where is she?!" The goddess pointed towards the young lady hanging upside down. Dark pit turned white as a ghost and started to scream, but before he could the goddess covered his mouth with her hand. As a result, all that came through were muffled screams. "She's not dead." She sighed. In a rage, Dark pit bit her hand, causing her to jerk back in pain and quickly remove it. "What do you mean? She's clearly hanging by a rope!" He exclaimed. "Yes, but look at her eyes. They aren't glassy-eyed, are they?" She responded. "She's alive," He replied. "But more importantly what is she doing in a place like this? This alternate portal, complete with dead remains and inverted ceilings and floors?" "Did you just say inverted ceilings and floors?" Pit interrupted. "That would mean that Mimi's ... Right side up?" "Exactly," The goddess remarked. "We're actually standing on the ceiling." "Whatever. We have to rescue her." Dark Pit stated, letting out a grunt of affirmation. Pit spotted a vine in the nearest corner and proceeded to swing from it. "I'll meet you guys there!" He shouted. The other two quickly nodded and ran to find some way to rescue the poor damsel.
