Chapter 9.

Lena's POV

Kara, Clark, Lois, Alex and I attended a play with Alex and Kara acting like body guards, that had seats still, and Clark and Lois being my guests. Some people in my court had guessed that Clark was the one I was to marry, others assumed the correct answer that he is a relative on my fiancé but still I would not tell them that.

Once the play was over members of my court came to speak with me. One asked, "So your Highness is your fiancé here?, I would love to meet him." I chuckled and shook my head. "Dear Sir, I have already announced that they will not be relieved till the day if my wedding to the court and the people." He stepped away and I looked to Clark. "I am sorry all eyes were on you Clark. I promise that was not the plan." Clark and Lois both laughed as Lois wrapped their arms around one another's.

Once we were back at the castle I turned to Clark and his wife. "Good night, I will see you in the morning." They both bowed before turning to leave when I called. "This is not to much for you?!" Clark turned and smiled. "Of course not your Highness. Being made 'friend of the Queen' was the best thing that ever happened to us, and if it means we have to act like first class we will for you." I smiles and nodded before we both turned and I took Kara's arm in my own.

"Do you think he knows?" Kara asked as I pulled her toward my quarters. "I think he suspects something." We entered my room where I began to undress out of my uncomfortable tent of a dress. Kara helped unlace my corcest as I watched her in the mirror before I helped her undo the buttons on her jacket, kissing her exposed neck. "Y-you do not need to help me." Kara stuttered out. I smiled and looked into her eyes as I removed her shirt and then waistcoat kissing along her now bear arms. Kara stopped me and helped me into my night gown. She then sat me on the edge of the bed where she removed my stockings.

I watched as she then removed her trousers and slipped into a night gown of her own. "Will you stay?" Kara turned to look at me with nothing but love in her eyes. "We will get caught my love." She answered as she kissed my forehead. "No one has noticed the ring... Please just lie with me until I fall asleep." Kara smiled before lying down on my bed and pulling the duvets over my body. I cuddled down into her side and help her hand.

"Did I rush you into loving me?" I asked as the thought had been tormenting my brain all day. "No, I loved you from the minute you showed me your true self. I loved you when you showed me kindness. It took awhile to learn what the feeling was, however Alex told me how she felt about Maggie, and I knew that was the same feeling I had for you. When we kissed I felt one hundred butterflies go off in my stomach and chest. I love you Lena. You are my only one."

I smiled at her words before kissing her hand a couple of times before falling asleep in her arms.
