Homecoming came faster than Ember expected it would. It probably felt like that because after the last Homecoming didn't go as plan Emberly was not really looking forward too it this time.

Emberly would have stayed at home like she wanted to do last time but of course Everly convinced her to come.

So, Emberly did a little late dress shopping and found herself a date and now here she was walking down the sidewalk with Jaya beside while Everly and Vanessa walked in front of then.

"Are you okay? You've been quiet ever since we left the dance." Emberly turned looking at her date trying to focus her attention on Jaya.

Yep. She asked Jaya to be her date. Not a big deal. The two simply went as friends.

"Yeah. I'm good. Just a little bummed this wasn't how I planned for this to go." Emberly replied.

"How so?" Jaya asked.

"It's nothing." Emberly shakes her head, "I'm happy you came with me though."

"Of course. Being homeschooled didn't allow me to go to dances, nothing but dance parties in my room alone." Jaya says. "Plus your a queen. Your wish is my command."

"Please don't. I can't even believe I won this thing." Emberly says holding up the Homecoming tiara in her hand.

"Me neither." Everly says butting into the conversation, "At the most I figured I would have won before you."

"Wow. Okay." Emberly says with light laugh in her voice.

"Uh, I'm praying JJ doesn't still have his crown." Vanessa says causing them to laugh as they entered the Cafe.

"Hey guys." Everly says as the girls approached the table where Asher, Jordan and Spencer were.

Emberly eyes slightly widened as she noticed Spencer there. She didn't expect him to be there.

"There's my Queen." JJ says as he wrapped an arm around Vanessa.

"Hey." Spencer spoke looking at Emberly causing her to look at him.

"Hi."Emberly replied keeping her response short.

There wasn't really anything to talk about with Spencer. The two were taken time apart for themselves and that's all to it.

Jaya looked between the two clearly noticing the tension which caused her to clear her throat to get their attention.

"This is my date Jaya, Jaya this is Spencer." Emberly spoke quickly introduced the two. She didn't mean to speak so fast, it just happened.

"Uh, Nice too meet you." Spencer says holding his hand out to shake Jaya.

"Wish I could say the same about you." Jaya says as she shook his hand as Emberly looked at her hoping she would not say anything to make the situation weird.

"Uh, Everly. Can I talk to you for a second?" Emberly asked looking at Everly.

"Sure." Everly says moving away from Jordan before her and Emberly walked away from the table.
