3 DAYS LATER

IN THE NIGHT HOUSE inside of Emberly's room the lamp on her bedside table was on as she laid in bed sleeping on her side. A small scowl appeared on her forehead as she started stirring around. Quiet mutters came from her until they turned into loud screams.

"No! Destiny, no. No, no, no."

The door to her room was opened by Mark, who had just got himself a cup of water in the middle of the night when he heard her screams. His eyes shot over to the bed where she tossed around. He rushed over to wake her, as his hand went to touch her she quickly rose up into a sitting position gasping and backing away.

"Hey, hey, you're home. You're safe." He assured her as she looked around seeing she still in her home. Emberly tried to calm herself as she leaned back into her headboard running a hand over her face.

She exhaled sharply letting out a small chuckle to cover up how bad the nightmare had affected her. "Sorry. Sorry. It's just a bad dream. I'm fine."

"Are you?" Mark asks, his tone filled with concern.

"I'm fine, I promise. Uh, Ms. Lane said nightmares were to be expected, so it's fine." Emberly explains.

"Emberly, I'm here." Mark says.

"Actually, I think I'm gonna go to Spencer's. I'm fine really." Emberly says tossing the cover off her body, bringing her legs out and standing up.

"I'm not sure you should be driving. Maybe I can." Mark suggests.

"I'm fine, really." Emberly tells him and walked out her room heading to the restroom.

She headed across the hall to the restroom, flicking on the restroom light and closing the door behind her. She leaned against the door, closing her eyed and taking a deep breath.

Three days. Three days since she was on that cliff with Destiny.

That night after saving herself from Destiny, then saving Destiny from the cliff, Emberly drove to the Runnings Springs center to let Destiny check herself in. Emberly didn't leave there until after Destiny's Mom arrived where Emberly explained everything that had taken place.

Once she left there, Emberly drove back home but when she arrived no one was at the house, which she wasn't surprised. She was pretty sure Everly was at the game. She wasn't expecting to find anyone but she did want to find her phone. Her family didn't have a house phone so her only way of contacting someone was through her phone.

Unfortunately she was unsuccessful on finding it. She went from her room, to Everly's room, the kitchen, the living room and still no signs of her phone. Twenty minutes into searching for it she gave up and left for the Baker's house. The next best place she could think of that moment to go too.

Her first instinct was to go to the game but she had no idea if it was over or not. And say if she did drive there and it was over, she had no idea where everyone was going to be so going to the Baker's house hopefully run into Olivia or Everly or someone and explain what had just happened to her.

Instead of finding Everly or Olivia, she found Mrs. Baker, and from there she explained everything.

Three days later here she was trying to recover from yet another nightmare. They had been going on every since she had returned back home. Same nightmare, every night. She was back on the cliff with Destiny being pulled on.
