I had just ended a call with my mum. I had called her to talk about William, but.... I ended up not even motioning him. She shouldn't need to worry about me, her life was hard enough. I should be perfectly capable of solving my own problems, theoretically. I wasn't though.

Yesterday, after the incident with William.... I just went straight to my room and hadn't left since then. I felt the other's looks on me as I walked through the room, they all most likely heard what William and I had talked about, and. I wasn't ready for that conversation, not yet. I needed to figure out what I felt towards him before I could open up about it to anybody else.

Sighing, I got out of my bed and rubbed some ointment on my ankle, which still hurt a little bit, before I decided to study. It was urgently necessary, and I didn't feel like having breakfast with Niall and Liam right now. And the exams were so close! Two weeks were left until the marathon would start: eight exams in four days.... Whoever had made this concept should be fired.

By noon, I had a headache and Liam had knocked at my door for at least three times, but never got an answer. I was still processing, and I also didn't know what to tell them. God, I didn't even know what to tell myself. I guess I was using the studying as a method of procrastinating. When my stomach started grumbling, however, I got some clothes from my wardrobe and started dressing myself, I was still wearing my pyjamas.

I loved that they had filled everyone's wardrobe with free clothes, another of the benefits you got out of living in the palace. I've never before had so many different clothing options that I needed to think about what I wanted to wear. I decided on black jeans from the palace and combined it with my favourite sweater I had brought from home. It was dark green and said 'Obsession'. According to my mum, it really complimented my eyes. Jason gave it to me for my birthday two years ago.

Fully dressed, took a deep breath, mentally giving me a little pep talk in front of the standing mirror hanging next to the door. Entering the living room, I immediately spotted Liam and Niall. They were already sitting at the table on the other side of the couch, both with a plate full of a soup that smelled great. Liam almost dropped his spoon when he spotted me. Didn't Liam once mention that he was scared of spoons?

"Morning", I mumbled, taking my seat opposite Niall. It was awkward, so I just started to eat and tried to ignore that they haven't picked up their conversation again. Were they talking about me? Anyway, the soup tasted delicious. I think it was sweet potato, but I couldn't tell.
