chapter three

Also I'm thinking about putting a song at the beginning of every chapter, do you like the idea?
---During lunchbreak, I sat down with Liam and Zayn at a table in the cafeteria. We told each other about our day, only interrupted by a some Indian boy that politely asked to sit down at the table with us.
"My french professor is so hot!", Liam told us, "her name is Ms. Fox, and then I have this english lecturer, Mr. Evans, he's a super cool guy!"
"May I remind you that relationships between teachers and their students are not allowed?", I mocked him, but he just shook his head. "You haven't seen her"
"I just came from the law class, and in my way back I overheard someone talking to his friends about joining a soccer team", I explained, " and I think I'd really like to join. So if you guys like playing soccer..."
"You won't get me to play soccer, never. I tried it as a little child and broke my ankle. Never again", zayn said, but liam replied that he'd like to try it, even though he's never been good at it. "And Niall would do it for sure, I mean, you've heard his story"
I told him that I would ask niall later, and liam and me decided to use the last ten minutes of our lunch break to walk to the reception and ask where we could sign up for soccer.
The lady told us that we just had to go up to the field behind the campus tomorrow at five, that's when practice started, and we would settle the rest with the coach.
"Alright, Liam, see you later at dinner, right?"
"Right. See you, harry", he said and we separated to walk to our next lecture.
By now, I felt like this day was going on forever, and even though I was still not able to belive that this was my first day of uni, it was extremely exhausting. I hope it was due to the fact that I wasn't used to this anymore, and that it would get easier when the first few days were over.---
I had the same english professor that liam had, and he's really a super cool guy. He was estimatedly only in his late thirties and the lecture felt more like a fun get-together than an actual lecture. We had to go around and introduce ourselves to the others, tell them the title of our favorite classic novel and then go together in groups of three, all with he same classic novel.
I didn't know what novel I liked best, reading had never been my greatest passion, so I just went with pride and prejudice. At least I still approximately knew what it was about, we had read it last year in school.
The problem was just, that Maxwell and Joseph, the boys I was now in a group with, were completely fanatic about Jane Austen and her 'revolutionary, mind-altering literature' .
I felt like I was in the wrong place, I didn't even know if I still owned the book or if I gave it away over Ebay the day we finished it.
Our task was to write an essay 'why we like it so much', and I had absolutely nothing to contribute. I was glad that Maxwell did most of it.
