He ran through the woodland the air was cold and crisp and a cascade of frost covered the forest making it look like it had been glazed in icing. The water was slightly frozen over but life still seemed to surround the area; ducks were waddling around, pecking at the ice creating tiny cracks that allowed water to escape causing more ice to deliquesce. His heart was beating as fast as it ever had, his hair swished behind him as the billowing wind swarmed into his face. The time seemed longer and it had slowed down, but he felt like he was traveling faster than he had ever traveled in his entire life. However a smile still gripped to his face as he got nearer and nearer to her. His emotions seemed like they were finally coming to a climax, he was finally ready to tell her how much she really meant to him, she was the thing that was keeping him down. But he knew in his mind, if she didn't want him after he couldn't tell her what she wanted to hear then he would leave her to be happy with Philip.
He got to her modernised mansion, it had two big wooden doors with intimidating, metal knockers that echoed through the forest causing birds to burst out of the trees. In the window, to the right of the door, he could see Philip smile and hug Daisy.
"can we do it fast please I just want to be married" he heard Daisy say. His face turned meek and endless and his heart was numb, without thinking about what to do, he creeped back into the woodland and ran home. That night he sat on his four post bed with his night stand next to him, staring at the floor, wondering what he could have done to get her sooner. If only he could have told her how he felt maybe she would be with him instead of that arrogant pig. He then took a deep breath
"Enough now, I'm going to let her be happy" he said to himself.
