ANGELINA POV.: It's another street race weekend. This time we're visiting Baku in Azerbejan. I think it's going to be interesting, but also hope that more promising than Monaco... The team always struggled there, so we hope that this time will be different...
-Are you ready?
-I guess...
-Cheer up Lew! I'll be just here, in the garage, cheering you on...- I tried to cheer him up a bit.
-Thanks Ange- he breathed out and gave me a warm hug, which I returned.
-You're more than welcome Champ- I smiled softly and kissed his right cheek -It's time for you to go...
-Good luck kiss?
-Of course- I giggled and he chuckled, and we shared a cute and loving, but short kiss. Then, we let go of one another and Lewis went to his car, to begin the race.
-Drive safe!
-Always!- he shouted above his shoulder and complited his suit with balaclava and helmet, and I joined Angela on the back of the garage.
-Fingers crossed?
-Fingers crossed- she agreed and we shared a warm smile. I really like her, she's like my best friend, just like she's to Lewis.
Soon after that, they we're called onto the grid, and before we knew it, it was time for the race. I kept my fingers crossed and eyes glued to the screens with "ear protectors" on my head. It was VERY stresfull...
Everything was going on almost good, but only two laps to go, the dissaster happened! Max's tire blowed up and red flag was needed... During the restart, and turn 1, when Lewis's somehow locked the tires and couldn't turn, so he drove off...
-NO!!!- all the garage shouted in horror. Only good in bad, that he managed to get back on the track unharmed. But also he fell onto 15th position!
-He'll be SO disappointed!- I pouted to Angela, and she just nodded, also sad. Whole garage was... Win just slipped through our fingers and everyone was very dissapointed...
-Yeah.. Let's hope that he's not gonna have attitude when he comes back...
-I don't think so... But we'll see...- I chuckled and immersed myself in conversation with Angela and Bono.
After few minutes Lewis came back to the garage.
-Lewis..- Angela was first one to see him. But Hamilton didn't reply, he just walked passed us, to get to his room.
-I'm gonna see how he feels...- Cullen said and stood up.
-I'll join- Bono agreed and I nodded.
-And I'll talk to Toto...- then we split and walked to our seperate diretions, Angela and Bono to Lewis's motorhome and I to the pit wall.
-Toto..!
-Hi Angie. How are you?- the boss looked at me and took off his headset.
-I'm fine, thanks. You?
-Not so good, could be better. But, you want to talk about something?
-Yeah... About Lewis...
-What's with him?- Wolff looked really concerned.
-He's dissapointed, and thinks that it's all his fault... That he should've do better...- I said sadly. Even though I didn't speak to Lewis before, I knew what he can feel right now. I know him to well...
-But he couldn't! After the red flag the tires weren't heated enough!
-I know! But you know Lewis...- we both sighed at that remark.
-Indeed, I know- Toto asured me and added -And we said that to him...
-I know! And I also know that he really appreciate your support and faith in him, but he hates to fail...
-As everyone here.
-He really wanted to win this one... After Max blowed up...
-Yeah...- we talked some more and then I came back to the garage with him, where we saw Angela and Bono.
-Guys, how is he?- I asked them, worried.
-He doesn't want to see anybody.. Even me...- Angela sighed sadly.
-He probably needs some time alone...- Toto said and we agreed -Let's get to post-race work done..
All the team got to work and I just looked at them for a moment, not interupting anything. I think 5 minutes passed, when I sneeked out of the garage to Lewis's room. It was silenced, like he wasn't even there. I exhaled with sad smile and softly knocked on the door.
-I need a minute alone!
-It's me baby!- I shouted in response and heared the lock snap. After that I pulled the knob and quickly entered the room. Lewis was sitting on his couch with head in his hands, which were popped up by elbows on his lightly spread knees. He looked really broken at that moment...
-Lew...- I sighed and walked to him. I kneeled in front of him and put both my hands on his knees -Lew... Look at me baby...- I told him softly, but he didn't move. It made me sigh and I a little forcely took one of his hands away and intervine it with mine. That's when I saw him crumbling in front of me and crying -Lewis...- I knew that his anxiety came back with full force and it started to kill me inside -Talk to me Love...
-I hate it... Hate to feel like this!- he exclaimed and his voice unvoluntarly cracked -So... hopless! So disapointed! I failed all the team efford!
-No you didn't! Accidents happens Lew! You're only human!- I said and took his face in my hands and positioned my knees on the ground -I know you are doubted right now, but everything will be good again soon! Believe me baby!- I looked directly into his eyes with pout.
-It's hard Angie! I feel... I feel useless!
-I know! But it's not true! You're one of the most special people I've ever known! You're on your way to make history of F1 with not only wins but championship, you're kind and loving to all the people around you, and very, VERY special!- I said and flung my arms around his neck -You just need to see it youself...
-Thanks Angie!- he said and held me tightly around my waist -It means a lot...- he said and kissed my cheek.
-Just like you mean a lot to me Lew- I smiled at him and pulled back a little to look him in the eye -I love you...
-Love you too, my angel...- he replied and we kissed passionately, but full of love and affection. I don't know how and when, but suddenly I found myself on his lap, stradeling his hips. It didn't bothered me much thou...
After some minutes we pulled apart and joined our foreheads, looking each other in the eye deeply, with little but genuine smiles on our faces. Then we stood up and Lewis got changed into fresh set of clothes. After that we went out, hand in hand, to face his media duties with Angela at his side. I was not far away myself, watching him closely. My heart swealed with pride on sight of Lewis bringing smile to his face, even though he didn't felt good himself...
Baku was deffinitely a race to forget, but just like Niki Lauda said, we learn the most from the looses. I'm certain that we'll re-grup as a team and come back stronger! And I'll be just right by Lewis's side to help him in whatever he needs...
THE END

Sweet but sour...
I hope you like this never the less!
Have a nice day! / Goodnight!
