#85 Checo - Birthday

MARISOL POV.: When I woke up, it was almost 9 AM. I looked over the other side if the bed, to check if Sergio is still asleep. To my delight, he is. I got out of bed rather quietly and slowly, no to wake him up. I succeded, and then made my way to boys room. Antonio, to my surprise, was already up, and playing with his cars quietly on the floor.
-Buenos Días Corazón- I smiled at him and kissed his head.
-Ola Mama!- he mirrored my expresion and added -Es Papa's Cumpleaños!
-Si, mi Corazón!- I agreed and continued -Go, brush your teeth and I'll wake tú Hermano up, ok?
-Sí!- he said and complied, rushing to the room I told him to, and soon after that I heard water running in the pipes. I, on the other hand, came to one of the beds and leaned over it, to wake my other son.
-Manu, Cariño...! Buenos días...- I succeded and looked my younger son in the eye. He pouted at first, but then smiled seeing me.
-Mama!- he said and gestured me to take him in my arms. I complied and took him in, hugging him close.
-Vamos! Let's prepare breakfast for Papa- I told the boys happily and we went together to the kitchen. I sat Manuel on the counter top and got to the work with Tonio's help. My 5 year old was very into it, happy to do something for his Papa...
I no time we were done with that, and I let the boys run to our master bedroom, as I walked behind them with tray full of food in my hands. They barged through them and jumped onto the bed, to wake Checo up.
-Papa! Papa! Wake up!- they jumped and yelled happily. It made Sergio stir and soon after that he was fully awake and our gazes met.
-Feliz Cumple Papa!- they said in unision, Antonio's words a little more understandable, as they gave him a hug.
-Mis Corazónes!- Checo said with a smile and returned the hugs -Gracias...
-De nada Cariño- I replied and sat on the bed, close to him and kissed his lips -Feliz Cumpleaños mi Amor...
-Gracias mi Sol- we smiled to each other and then put more distance to us, in order to put the tray with food on his lap. We all wished one another bon appetit and began to eat. There was no mistaking his happiness and joy...
-What are we doing today?- Checo asked boys when we finished.
-Can we go to the park Papa? Por favor..!- Antonio asked innocently, winking at me. I needed to force myself, not to giggle at that gesture.
-Ok. We'll get dressed, help Mama in cleaning the kitchen, and then we can go- Sergio agreed and kissed both our sons heads.
-No! We want "only boys" time!- Tonio disagreed and my husband chuckled as I contemplated, after whom this kiddo takes?!
-Is that so?
-Sí!- or sons insisted in unision.
-Ok. We can do that- he finally gave in and the boys cheered happily, while we laughed at them.
After some time in bed, we got up and Sergio told me to go, and clean the kitchen, while he'll take care of the boys. I agreed, we shared loving kiss and then seperated to our "tasks"...
Not long after that each of my boys gave me a goodbye kiss and they left, to go to the park and I started to prepare food for the secret birthday party, which I'm throwing for Sergio later in the day. When meals were in the oven, I quickly got dressed and all ready for the party. After that I returned to the kitchen, to finish cooking and baking, with kitchen apron on, not to make my dress dirty. I invited almost whole family and few of our friends to it, and Checo doesn't have a single clue that I'm doing something like that. The only possibility for him to find out is Antonio spoiling the surprise, but I believe in my boy, as he didn't do it right away...

Hours passed like flashlight and before I knew it, whole living room and kitchen were ready for the guests to arrive. And pretty soon after that, I heard the doorbell ring.
-Yo voy!- I shouted and made my way to the door, to open them. It reaveled all the family and friends, whom I invited inside, greeting them happily with warm hugs. Papa hugged me SO HARD, that I thought that he'll crush me! But I didn't mind though...
-I'll text Sergio to come back for dinner- I told Paola and did so soon afterwards.

From Corazón: Ok. Nosotros voy- he texted back, and all the guests procced to hide, to make the surprise even better.
Before we knew it, the boys were back, and kids ran to me as fast as they could. Checo entered the room after them and froze in place, in shock.
-Surprise!- we all yelled in unision and then start singing "Feliz Cumpleaños" to him, and hugged him, one by one, wishing him all the best.
-You did all of that?
-Sí. Todo por ti, Amor- I replied and kissed him shortly but sweet.
-Gracias Sol, por todo...
-De nada- we hugged and then the party has begun...

We had a lot of fun, eating and talking. After that, everyone gave Checo their presents. He was really happy... But the joy erupted like crazy, when Manu came to Sergio for cuddles with dark blue shirt with white letters saying "Big brother"...
-Qué?!- he looked at me wide-eyed and then saw Tonio, also in the same shirt but bigger, who wanted some hugs too. I just nodded with teary smile, already having some "pregnancy mood-swings", and rested one hand on my, still flat stomach. I was just 4 days ago on my regular check up, and I found out that I'm 5 weeks along. As I have irregular circle, I didn't even know that I missed my period..!
-Mi Sol...- he said and gestured me to join the family hug, while the rest of the fam and friends cheered and cried -I'm the happiest I've ever been!- Checo added and kissed me tenderly -Te quiero...
-Te quiero mucho- I replied and we cuddled our boys. Antonio is 5 and Manu almost 2, so when this baby will be born, the're going to be 6 and 3 respectively. It still is a little surreal to me, that we're going to be family of 5 in next 8 months...
After we pulled away, Fam came to us and congratulated, happy for the news. 
-I knew that something was off with you yesterday!- Paola pointed at me.
-Sorry, not sorry!- I smiled at her and pulled her in, for a hug. Checo's father was as happy, as he was when Sergio got P3 in Mexico GP last season, or not even more..! Tequila was floating whole house, and Checo held me close to himself in protective hug, as none of us drank and the boys went to their room, to play a little. I, for obvious reasons, and Sergio decided to not drink also, after maybe 3 glasses of Tequila, what was a little when it comes to us, mexicanos...
-When did you find out?
-Just a few days ago, when I did that regular check up..- I smiled at him -The baby is 5 weeks old and healthy...
-Te quiero...- he said and kissed me again, overfloating with happiness.
-Yo también Amor- I replied and mirrored his sparkling gaze. And the fact that Antonio and Paola gave Checo a new watch is even more special, as it can remind him forever about this news and happines. About the happiness from expanding our little family with new life...
-I hope it'll be a girl this time- Sergio added and placed his hand on my belly.
-And why is that?
-We'd have mini you that way- he explained, which made me giggle.
-That's true- I agreed and kissed his cheek lovingly, leaving a stain of my lipstick there.

A Cumpleanios fiesta lasted a long hours, but none of us minded, playing along and having fun. I could clearly see how happy Sergio was and it warmed my heart. This was deffinitely the best birthday party in a long time,,,
And 7.5 months later, a week before due date, our baby girl was born... We named her Aurora Constanza, and she was splited image of me when I was born. We were estatic to welcome her to the world, already knowing that she'll be the sweetest girl we have ever knew...
