BBBI Chapter 1
Lilliana's POV
Once I get to the mall, I walk to the food court to meet my friends. I see them on the opposite side of the court from where I'm standing. I hurry over to them.
"Hey," my best friend, Flora, greets me.
"Hey, are you ready?" I question. We are going "back to school" shopping because school will begin and summer vacation will end in three days, on Tuesday, seeing as today is Saturday.
"For new clothes? Yes. To go back to school? Nahh..." Aubrielle, my other best friend, says and I shrug.
"Let's go then!" an annoyed Lola, Flo's fourteen year old sister, says with emphasis on the go. She is tagging along because she needs new clothes for school, just like we do, except she doesn't want to be here. Lola would rather be with her own friends.
"Lola." I direct my next words to her.
"Yes?" Lola asks.
"I'll buy you food if you go the whole day without being whiney," I give her a challenge. Lola is deep down a good girl who is really caring, but she likes to put up an act that she's one who doesn't give a fuck about anything. Oh, and she loves food.
"Challenge accepted." Her determination is clear in her eyes and in her tone of voice.
~~ 4 hours later ~~
We find a place to sit in the food court. I count my bags, I have seven. We got a snack earlier, but decided we should probably get something more. After all, our stomachs are growling and we are tired from all the walking and trying on clothes.
"Well, Lilli, I fulfilled your challenge. Now you get to buy me food," Lola smiles.
She stays with our shopping haul as the rest of us go and get Subway. After we get our food, I sit down and dig into my food.
"Look," Aubri nudges my shoulder and I look in the direction she is pointing. The others look too and we see Mac West (His real name is Michael) and his friends, Lucas Sanford, Caleb Smith, Alexander Collins, and Luke's girlfriend, Isabella Wright.
They're the bad boys of Westwood Heights High School, well the boys are, Isabella is one of the popular girls. My friends and I are in between being the "nobody's" and the "popular's".
"They're so hot!" Lola exclaims, she is just going to be in high school, a freshman, so she hasn't really gotten used to seeing the bad boys.
"Yes, they are. Now stop drooling," Flo tells her sister, she looks like she's about to smack Lola in the head.
"I'm not drooling.." Lola give Flo a death glare, but still goes to wipe her mouth anyway. Aubri and I burst out laughing. That leads Lola to give us death glares as well.
"Mac is so sexy, damn boy," I whistle so that only my group of friends can hear. They all laugh at me.
We all finish eating and get our stuff together before heading opposite ways.
As I am walking to my car, I bump into someone and drop my bags. I bend down to pick them up and I see the person helping me. I look up and gasp in surprise. Mac. He hands me my bags.
"Th-th-thanks," I stutter.
He smirks and walks away, leaving me confused as to why he helped me when he's a supposed "bad boy".
