BBBI Ch 3

Lilliana's POV

The bell rings, signaling the end of fourth period, and I head to my locker. As I'm putting my books in my locker, my brother approaches me.

"Hey, Garrett," I greet him.

"Hey, Lil, do you have some extra money?"

"Why?"

"Well... I forgot my wallet at home. I had to borrow money from Sam for breakfast and I really don't want to owe him more. I could repay you at home," He explains.

"Fine..." I grumble as I give my brother some money. "You're lucky I'm so nice."

"Yeah, sure, whatever. Thanks, Sis," he says as he walks away.

"Brothers..." I mumble and shake my head.

I go to the cafeteria and get in the lunch line. After I pay for my lunch, I find my friends.

"Hey, Lilli!" Aubri calls me over with a smile.

"Hey, Aub! Hey Flo!"

"Hello!" greets Flo.

"I'm so glad it's lunch time! I was so hungry!" I start eating.

"Lilli... Do you know why Mac keeps looking over here...?" Flo points her head behind me, urging me to turn around.

When I turn around, Mac sees me and winks. I face my friends again and my cheeks turn a little pink. They giggle at me and I tell them what happened– mentioning, once again, how I bumped into him twice, and how he ended up becoming my lab partner in Chemistry.

"That's so cute! Who knew that bad boy Mac could kinda be a gentleman?"

Thanks, Aubri, thanks.

I check the clock and there's a little over ten minutes left of lunch. I get up and take care of my trash. Then, I go to the bathroom. Once I'm done, I find my friends and talk to them for the last few minutes. We disperse when the bell rings and go to class.

Michael's POV

I can't stop thinking about the girl that bumped into me. She's so beautiful! I don't remember ever seeing her before, until the day at the mall. First, we bumped into each other at the mall, then in the halls, and now we're lab partners in 4th hour chemistry.

I sit down in the school's cafeteria with my lunch. I open my brown paper bag and pull out a sandwich. When I look up, I see the girl, Lilliana. She's walking toward a group of girls, they must be her friends.

"What's up, Buttercup? Can I knock you up?" I hear from beside me. I look to see my best friend, Alex.

"Shut up, you fuck." I laugh.

He pouts, "That's no way to speak to your best friend."

"Not like you wouldn't do the same."

"True."

"And plus, you can't knock me up if I'm a guy."

"Take a joke, West." Alex says seriously. "You're being sassy today, what's shoved up your ass?"

"Nothing," I say as I look back at Lilliana and take another bite of my sandwich. My other friends, Luke, Caleb, and Luke's girlfriend, Bella, join me & Alex.

"Sup," Caleb greets.

"Hey," I give him a wave.

As I'm eating, my eyes trail to Lilliana and her friends, yet again. I see her friend with reddish-brown hair nod my way, speaking to Lilliana. She looks back at me and I wink, which causes her to turn back towards her friends with a blush.

I try not to laugh at our little exchange, but I can't help it and a laugh escapes.

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing," I smile and join the conversation my friends are having.
