P R E S E N T TIME
Today was Taran and Mia's sangeet ceremony.It would be a small affair with closest friends and family,at Taran's home,in Dhanmondi.
Alishka started getting ready,from 6.30 pm.She knew the program was at 8 pm but still she wanted to make sure she was on time.As she finished washing her face,she got a call from Tanya.
"Alu babe!What are you wearing,saree or kameez?"Tanya asked as soon Alishka picked up. "I'll be wearing a saree,what about you?"she asked,wiping her face with a towel. "Same I'll be wearing a saree,and what time will you be starting,to go?" Tanya asked. "I'll start by 7.30." "Ok!Give me a call before you start!Bye!" Tanya hung up.
Alishka slowly started applying makeup.Her mind was somewhere else already.She would have to again see Dhara and Ayaan together today.She wasn't ready for this.No, she wasn't ready at all.
She wanted to sometimes scream at Ayaan, "DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT I LOVE YOU EVEN NOW YOU GODDAM ASHOLE!" But he would think she's cray cray and she had enough of being thought to be crazy.
