Seungmin's POV

"Welcome, Sir Kim. Please follow me." The pale-looking boy said. I examined his appearance. He wore a tuxedo that complimented his body figure, much similar to a hour glass. His hair is slicked back, exposing his forehead but one thing was standing out the most, his face. His cheeks were puffy and his lips were small, creating a pouty look.

He coughed and said, "Excuse me, Sir." but I just kept staring until he booped my nose. "Don't stare too much. You're making me uncomfortable, Sir." he said monotonously. He acted like someone owned his life. He was undeniably good-looking but not  as Felix, not with his cat-like features.

He started walking, leading the way for me. I followed but something was blocking me from passing through again. Oh, the barrier they made for themselves. I sighed, not desiring another near-death experience if I'm not able to pass through this blockade.

I tried to enter but it was much harder to pass through, as if the slime is hardening and softening every second. The pale boy looked back, watching me. After a good 5 minute of struggle, I was able to pass through. The barrier was strong and much tighter but was thinner. I was extremely drained but I forced myself to stand up. When I was able to stand firmly, the pale boy cupped my face with his cold hand. He then brought my face closer to him, staring right into my soul. I was now the one who was uncomfortable, blushing at the small space between our faces. I waited for him to speak up until he spoke, "Human."

He then let go of me and said, "Let's go. You don't want to stay here much longer, especially at night. Here, hold my hand." he then offered his hand and dragged me. I was barely keeping up with his speed. "If you see anyone wearing a white cloak, close your eyes." I responded with a nod.

We were getting close to the exit but my curiosity distracted me from a figure, there was someone wearing a cloak holding a lantern that contained a blue flame, adding a blue hue to their cloak but was still noticeably white. I swear they looked back, fear growing inside me. I stutteringly said to the boy who was dragging me, "H-Hey, I kinda messed up. I saw someone wearing a white cloak and they looked back at me. Can you drag me faster? I'm really terrified right now!" I heard him make a 'Tsk' sound with his mouth, implying that he was mad or annoyed.

I looked back again and saw two people wearing white cloaks, making me scream my lungs out.
"Don't scream. You'll just gather more attention." The pale boy calmly said, acting like he got everything under his control.

"Listen, I'll stall them but you have to run on your own. Just keep running straight and don't look back, focus all your energy on running away." I was about to respond with a 'huh' but he suddenly catapulted me, whipping me harshly. I ran and ran, remembering the words the pale boy said to me and following it accordingly. I began to see apple trees being surrounded by glowing fireflies. I ran much faster than ever before, pushing myself off my limits.

I soon reached the beautiful scenery, passing through the trees. It was a garden full of roses, my jaw dropped, eyeing the field. The tiredness in my body seemed to disappear while few fireflies encircled me. I smiled but that was gone when I yawned, a big one. I needed rest. I didn't care if I was hungry or where should I sleep, I just wanted rest. The green grass looked comfortable, not even giving a care if I was in someone's property. I laid as the Slumber magic taking effect on me.

3rd person POV

Don't fail us, Hyunjin. We expect so much of you. Everything you must do is perfect. You have to be flawless. You are the son of the 4th king of Roseate, you must carry the Legacy of our family.

These thoughts are still in Hyunjin's mind. Even in his dreams, they invade his brain. Hyunjin is so tired of it he began to cry, until realizing that Kkami is also in the same room. He stood up from his bed carefully without disturbing the hairy pet he owned. Hyunjin this, Hyunjin that. I just want to live normally. Hyunjin said to himself. He's under tremendous pressure because of the kingdom, people, and his parents. They expect so high of him that even Hyunjin himself  couldn't possibly reach. It took effect onto him. He began to be pessimistic, sad, and shoved away people he once trusted and loved.

He walked to their garden, a field of roses, being surrounded by fireflies which glowed at night. He went to the pergola and sat on the bench, crying his eyes out. This is where he cried out all of his problems and struggles. No one can hear or see him whimper, cry, and snot. Is there someone that can pull me out of this hell? Someone that can make me feel happy? Loved? He thought.

Unfortunately, someone on their patrol duty saw Hyunjin crying. He immediately went to the prince, attempting to comfort the saddened youth. "Sire, are you all right?" the Guard asked with concern on his face but was unseen because his head was covered with a helm.

"Do I look okay to you?" Hyunjin asked mockingly, looking at the idiotic guard.

"No--"

"Just leave me alone, you are not helping." Hyunjin cuts off the guard and ordering him to leave. The guard left, Hyunjin sighing in annoyance as he laid on the bench, adjusting himself to the size of the bench.

Hyunjin started crying again until he heard rustles and noises from the bush. Anxiety rising within Hyunjin, he stood up.

"W-Who's there?" The terrified prince asked but no one answered.

Hyunjin called for his guards yet no one seemed to hear him. He was too stunned to move.
Until a boy, from Hyunjin's perspective, appeared.

"Hi." The boy holding a bag slung on his shoulder awkwardly said.
