Seungmin's POV

I began to walk to my Mother's safe place, her botanical garden and laboratory. In this place, she gets to be her own self. As soon as she heard me calling, she stopped her work and greeted me with a hug. "Had a nice morning, Seungmin?" she asked me sweetly after breaking the bond.

"Not quite. Denzel poured a bucket of water at my face just to wake me up but other than that, Yes, I did have a good morning. How about you, Mom? You working on something?" I looked at her workplace with deep curiosity. Beakers full of substance I was not familiar with are neatly placed at her table, Files full of paper stacked properly, and a picture frame containing an image of me and her, smiling fondly.

"Yes, I am currently working on a  vaccine. The town we used to live at is suffering from a growing disease and I was called for help by the town's Mayor. But, don't worry, Seungmin. I'm almost done formulating the vaccine. It seems that the organism who's the cause of the disease is closely related to the one we already  have a vaccine for." I relaxed after hearing my Mother's reassuring words. I tensed my face the whole time my Mother talked about the old town due to worry for my old home.

My mother is a botanist and an expert in the medical field. She works with plants and microorganisms to create medications for the sick or even better, create new species by mixing or combining two completely different kinds. She is termed as "The Town's savior" because she once saved this town we're living currently at from an emerging epidemic. Her name is Panacia Athens.

"Anyways, Mother, I believed I was summoned by you?" I asked, bringing back my attention to why I was told to be here. Mother immediately answered, "Ah, yes. I told Denzel to wake you up because I am assigning you to a big task. You are to attend the grand meeting that is about to be held at the United Kingdoms of 'The Four Great'. You are to stay there for two to three months."

"Huh? Four great what?" I pointed out even though I should be more concerned to the fact that I'll stay there for half of a half-year.

"Wait, you already forgot? Oh, wait. You were just small back then." She realized as she chuckled lightly.

She walked back to her table and opened a drawer. She then held a rather big than usual scroll, a map. I walked towards her table. "This is the United kingdom of the four great: The Kingdom of Roseate , Helios, Anthos and Chrysanthemum." As my Mom points at the marked area. "They are known for their representative flowers. Dark Red Roses, Sunflowers, and Red and White Chrysanthemum." She continued. Hmm, strange. It feels like I've been there. I mean I was there when I was young but ugh. I mentally slapped myself because of my stupidity. I hated that feeling.

"And what is the task you want me to do?" I inquired, waiting for a response.

"You are to attend on my behalf. I am not available for a few months because I've been invited to numerous towns near ours. They badly need my aid." My Mother states as she sigh, showing sign of exhaustion and worry for the villagers.

"I think I'm not able to do that, Mother. I am not that skilled with your field. You know I'm into expeditions and Exploring." I said, a frown growing on my face. I hated doing things I didn't want to do.

"Don't worry. It won't be that hard. All you're going to do is listen and take notes for me. Besides, this is also a great opportunity to explore the lands. I also got a little something for you." She grinned, pulling another drawer. She then gave me a neatly wrapped present. The frown on my face suddenly got lighter, eager to know what's under the wrapper.

After the wrapper was torn apart completely, A thick blank book appeared. It's covers provided strong protection for the delicate paper in between. It was a Journal. The frown was gone, a smile ear to ear was shown on my face. I hugged the taller woman and thanked her. The Book was rare. It was thick, more than enough space for my thoughts and a protective barrier for the pages. Journals like these are expensive in our area since materials that are used to create these are quite hard to make.

"When am I leaving?"

"Three or maybe Four days from today. It depends on the weather." She answered.

"But first, I'm going to tell you all about 'The Four Great'. Their traditions, rulers, general behavior, Everything about them. It is inevitable of you to get a culture shock when you enter their land if you aren't informed or ready."

Oh, boy. Here we go. I thought as I prepare myself for the long and difficult lecture from the now serious Lady leaning back on her table while holding a book, containing all information of 'The Four Great'.
