3RD PERSON POV

Squeezing through the bustling crowd, Felix guided the unknowing two boys. Sounds of laughter and talking, clashing of pint glasses filled with alcohol, and music brought life to the bar. Hyunjin scrunched his nose in an attempt to avoid the strong odor of alcohol. Meanwhile, Seungmin hastily apologized to the men he unintentionally disturbed but was shrugged off by them.

Soon, they reached the main bar where hundreds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served by skilled bartenders. "Good evening, gentlemen. Do you want to know tonight's specials?" A Bartender welcomed the three boys as they sat on a chair, Seungmin between Felix and Hyunjin.

"Yes, please," Felix replied as he sent a friendly smile. "I hope it's not too strong for us."

The Bartender chuckled lightly, "Well, You're in luck. Tonight, the main special is called the Sweet Lemon drop. Its basic vodka, sugar, and lemon juice in a shot glass. Not too strong and not too light. It's got a sweet tang taste to it. I definitely recommend it."

"I want one," Hyunjin demanded.

Seungmin looked at him and then back at the bartender, "How many shots of this can get you drunk?"

"Five to seven glasses, maybe. Depends on the person if they'd already drunk this before." The Bartender explained. "Okay, we'll just have to keep an eye on Hyunjin so he doesn't get too tipsy," Felix muttered to Seungmin.

Seungmin nodded as he faced Hyunjin again who ordered three shots of the recommended drink without his nor Felix's permission. "Hyunjin! No! What the--"

"Seungmin! Don't mutter his name too loud or else we'll get caught!" Felix harshly whispered to Seungmin, trying to scold him.

"Oh, no. It's totally fine. I'm sure I can manage." Hyunjin reassured, referring to Seungmin's reaction to him ordering three shots of the drink.

"If you say so."

-Time skip-

Time passed, the whole kingdom of Anthos is already engulfed in darkness. The three still sat on their chair, Felix and Seungmin talking as Hyunjin quietly sat, chugging down the two remaining shots. Hyunjin was on his own bubble, deep in thought which was noticed by the other two.

"He went here to have fun and yet, there is no sign of joy on his face," Felix said.

"I agree. I think we're at fault, mainly my fault, actually. I was the one who suggested this whole trip and I ignored him." Seungmin sadly muttered, regret evident in his tone.

Ironically, the two still kept talking about them ignoring Hyunjin, then completely shifted the topic from Hyunjin to who had the best hairstyle in the bar. Hyunjin began to feel out of place. He wanted to have fun earlier but now, all he desires is the soft mattress inside his bedroom, waiting for him. Plus, Seungmin wasn't even acknowledging his presence which is also another reason why Hyunjin wanted to go home.

He planned to at least gain Seungmin's attention but was unaware of the inconvenience the alcohol has brought onto him. As he attempted to stand up, the world around him seemed to be wobbly and unstable. His balance broke and he immediately grabbed onto Seungmin's shoulder for support.

"Oh my-- Are you okay? Why did you stand up? Want to go somewhere? I should've kept an eye on you." Seungmin said with concern but chuckled at the sight of the wobbling boy trying to fix his composure. Hyunjin celebrated inside, praising himself for achieving his goal.

"No, I'm fine. I just needed to go to the bathroom." Hyunjin replied once he was able to spew out words. He was beginning to feel tipsy, his eyes blinking slowly.

"Want me to help you--" Hyunjin went wide-eyed as he tries to erase the inappropriate thought of Seungmin helping him aim his thing to the toilet bowl. I blame it on the drink. Hyunjin thought to himself, shifting the blame to the alcohol.

"go there?" Seungmin finished his sentence which completely relieved Hyunjin's mind.

"Yes. Please." Hyunjin was happy on the inside, he

Seungmin then poked Felix's arm who was talking to the bartender in an attempt to gain his attention. "Hey, we'll be right back. Hyunjin needs to go to the bathroom and I think he's already drunk."

Felix nodded quickly to Seungmin, not wanting to be interrupted because he was having a genuine conversation with the bartender. Hyunjin walked sloppily as he clutched on to Seungmin. When they were met with a brown door with a figure of a male and had a sign that said 'Male's bathroom', Hyunjin lets go of his hold to Seungmin. "I'll be right back."

"Okay. Call me when you need help with something." Seungmin said as Hyunjin went in.

Ten minutes passed, Hyunjin came back. "Sorry if I took long. I had a hard time aiming..."

Seungmin wanted to laugh but he resisted, "No, it's fine. Want to go back now?"

"Where?"

"Home? You're a bit tipsy."

"No, I'll stay for a little while, if only it's okay to you." Hyunjin pleaded, enabling his puppy eyes to Seungmin. Hyunjin thought he can start having fun since he got the boy's attention. Seungmin nodded as he again assisted Hyunjin back to the bar.

"So, what'd we miss?" Hyunjin asked Felix who was now much comfortable with him.

"Huh? Oh! Not much." Felix was surprised because of how the Prince was casually talking to him.

Felix and Seungmin began to talk to each other, AGAIN. They completely ignored Hyunjin who was now beginning to feel soberer. Both of them were too immersed in the conversation, they didn't notice Hyunjin sighing and signaling to the bartender. "Can I have three shots of Sweet Lemon drop?"

The Bartender nodded as he retreated to his workplace, making the requested drink. Hyunjin waited for him to finish but his attention was shifted to the two boys talking beside him. Even though he can only see Seungmin's back, he can sense his smile directed at Felix.

The bartender came back with the three shots as he handed it to Hyunjin. He thanked him and held one shot glass, still facing Seungmin's back. He began to take a shot, feeling the hit of the alcohol intoxicate him. He took one again, chugging it down and slamming the glass down dramatically, in hopes that he will get Seungmin's attention but failed to do so since the bar was filled with loud noises. He scoffed, his annoyance growing.

He took the last shot glass and drank. Drunkness clouded within him, his movements became unpredictable, he muttered unknown words sloppily, and his eyes blinking slowly.

The next thing he knew, he purposely grabbed Seungmin's shoulder and faced each other. Seungmin's face was plastered with feelings of annoyance because his conversation with Felix got interrupted and concern for Hyunjin who is obviously drunk.

All Hyunjin wanted was to talk to him but his full attention was on Felix. What can he do to gain his attention? What can he do to make him his?

Hyunjin looked at Seungmin with his flesh-tearing gaze and muttered, "Let's dance."

"Wha--" Seungmin was cut off by the boy who dragged him to the center where most people danced to the music.
