Chapter 12

3RD PERSON POV

Seungmin was awoken by a loud knock on the door. He opened his eyes and saw his window letting the Sun's heat and light pass through. "Sir, please wake up. Be presentable and arrive at the dining table at eight thirty sharp." The person on the other side of the door said. Seungmin assumed it was Rein but the voice was much heavier and deeper but did not think of it again as he began to walk to the mirror near the fireplace. He examined his look, eye boogers, disheveled hair, and solidified saliva near his bottom lip. 

Looking great as ever even in the morning, hmm. Seungmin arrogantly praised himself even though deep inside, he knew he looked like he got ran by a herd of horses.

He walked to his door, trying to find a bathroom outside his room. As he was about to turn the door knob, he looked to his right and saw a door. He probably didn't notice it when he entered because he was too tired to pay attention. Curiosity swallowing him, he cautiously went to the mysterious door, eager to know what it hides on the other side. He opened the door and saw nothing but darkness. He went back to his bed and opened the Nightstand's drawer, hoping to find a candle lamp. Luckily, there was. He lit it up and went inside the mysterious room inside his bedroom. The light he held illuminated the room, allowing Seungmin to fully see what's inside. It was a bathroom, rather quite a large one. There was a big bathtub, a toilet, a shower room, and a sink with mirror. Seungmin went to the sink and looked at the mirror. Opening it, he saw toiletries and hygiene necessities.

He decided to take a bath on the shower room. He went in and found a bathrobe, ready to be used. He turned the shower knob and allowed warm water to flow. He took an enjoyable bath, and brushed his teeth. He damped his wet hair to dry as he looked for his clothes, trying to choose an outfit for the day. When he was done changing and his hair was completely dry, he took his new journal and brought the infipen with it. He deeply inhaled and exhaled before leaving his room.

He began to ascend the stairs and looked for the dining room where the 'meeting' will be held. He saw a Royal Servant and immediately went to them. "Can you please tell where the dining room is?" Seungmin asked nicely.

"Yes, Sir. But perhaps, I shall escort you there since that will be also my destination. Sir, please follow me." The Royal Servant offered.

Seungmin nodded, gratitude on his face. Seungmin followed the royal servant and stayed silent the whole trip. He felt that the royal servant didn't want to engage in a conversation with him since they just kept on leaving Seungmin behind as the boy desperately followed them.

Soon, they reached a grand door. The Royal Servant opened the door for both of them, letting Seungmin go in first. The boy entered as he thanked the Royal Servant and went wide eyed to see five faces staring at him, four women and a man who is in the same age as him. He immediately went to sit at the vacant seat beside a lady who had black long hair. The Lady smiled at him in a friendly manner and greeted Seungmin. "Hello. What's your name?"

"Erm, Seungmin. What is your name?" Seungmin replied.

"I'm Chaewon. Congrats, by the way. You're the last one." Chaewon said enthusiastically.

"Huh? What do you mean by 'Congrats'?" Seungmin asked, emphasizing the word 'Congrats'.

But Chaewon only giggled, not answering Seungmin's question. "Are you serious? You've got to be kidding me.--" Chaewon looked at Seungmin who had a straight face, signifying that he was indeed serious. "Wait, You are serious! What are you even doing here?" Chaewon laughing a bit louder, earning the attention of the other who sat across the dining table.

"I came for a meeting. This meeting, in fact." Seungmin said. Now, Chaewon lost her composure and laughed a lot louder, putting her palm at her chest. When the hysterical lady stopped laughing, she faced Seungmin and spoke, "Me too, I also came for this meeting."
