Chapter 44

"So will you talk to me OR not?" You raise your eyebrows at the girl, who silently sipping the milkshake which was originally made for you by Kimmy. Kimmy wasn't happy that you offered the drink to Aaru, but that was the last thing you are worried about. You have kindly asked everyone to leave you alone with your friend as you still had many unanswered questions.

It was first time in years you and Aaru came back to your home town Busan. She was darting her eyes down around the room, trying her best to ignore any questions related to the incident that took place the night before.

"Aaru! I'm talking to you!" You urge. She looks at your direction and thinks for a while, making you even more frustrated than you already were. "Are you okay?" She finally asks.

You sigh, painfully. "Aaru.." You close your eyes in relief. "I am. But, that's not what it answers why you are suddenly here and the fact that you went to meet Yoongi and Shawn without telling me."

"sorry," she suddenly blurts, ignoring all your questions. "I'm sorry. I found out about Shawn and Yoongi when we went to Shawn's France house. But, you were so happy...I just- I am sorry I am such an idiot. Jimin is right I'm a bad, immature friend. I should have stopped you when I found out in the first day."

You cut her short by abruptly hugging her. "Shut up! Just shut up! Stop it. It was not your fault and let Jimin say whatever. He's just a stupid Mochi." You mean it. You rub her hand firmly. "But, are you okay? Wait-" you stop dead at the track when you feel her hands.

Her hands were abnormally warm. The high temperature radiated through her skin is making you question if she was sick. She looked completely normal and fine, then why is her body burning?

"Oh!" She takes her hands. "It's nothing! I was sick yesterday and I guess, it's just-ugh forget it. Now, are you staying here?"

Your suspicion was cut short. "Yeah, I guess Kimmy was asking us to stay here with her. Plus I don't want Shawn to be near my sight."

"He's getting married." She suddenly announces.

You look down, close your eyes and take a breath. "I-I know."

"To Yoongi's sister, Kara." She speaks. "I-I saw them two yesterday when I went to Yoongi's house...they...You know what forget it,"

"No. Please tell me."

"Shawn and Kara looked happy as if they reunited after don't know how long."

You wanted to scream. Scream your lungs out. Yell at him, shout at him all you want, but you know you couldn't. You hated the fact that he played you, he toyed your heart for no apparent reason and yet you can't say a word against him.

"Why did you go to him?" You ask your friend.

Two days have passed, and all you've done is spend time with Aaru and Jimin and eat a bunch of foods especially made for you by Jimins mother. Jin and Hoseok made sure to text you or call you non-stop. You appreciate the attempts but your heart won't appreciate what you have felt because of Shawn. And the fact that he didn't even try to contact you, not even for once.

There hasn't been a second that you didn't miss Shawn. You miss him terribly and each time your brain and heart chants the name, your heart cries abnormally originating your eyes to swell up. You have no idea, when you suddenly begin to miss your Shawnie. The softness of his hug, the innocence of his voice, everything.

You didn't try to contact Shawn. You know he has no excuse for whatever he has done, nor you were interested in listening to it. But, you wanted to contact Jungkook. Your feelings says he must have an excuse, he must have a reason for all this. One corner of your heart deeply believes Jungkook has nothing to do with this.
