Chapter 27

"Mmm..." I wake up, finding myself in Shawn's arm. My body was tangled around him and his face snuggled inside my neck comfortably. His warm breath was making it harder to get up and kick his ass for doing what I asked him not to. But I couldn't. He was in a deep sleep. It looked like it's been a long time he had a good night sleep. His baby face made me resist the longing to wake him up.

Deep breath. "SHAWN!" I shout. He jumps up, instantly looking extremely lost with his puffy morning face. Eyes half open, half closed. I wanted to laugh out loud as he looked dazed out from the world. Cute.

"What happened?" His morning voice speaks. Damn! That was so hot. His raspy, deep voice sends a chill to travel down my spine.

Is this how my morning going to be from now on?

"Let's go to Aaru!" I stutter as a blush crept through my cheeks as I nearly got carried away by his hot voice.

"Oh." He rubs his eyes and does his morning stretch. "You mean you. Cause I am going to meet Jimin and you go talk to Aaru."

"You cried." You announce. Aarushi denies it till the very end. But, you were not in the mood to play games. So, with a huff you grab her cheeks so you get a clearer view of her face. "Of course you did."

"No I didn't." She yanks your hand away. "why would I cry cause of that idiot? I don't care." She sniffles. You shake your head, mentally preparing yourself for a long conversation.

"Listen, it's okay. You care about this whole situation way too much, so let's talk." You try to confront. You hold her hand and see her lips trembling again. She is going to cry again.

"I do! Of course I care! He's such an idiot!!! But I still care! What is wrong with him seriously! And what's wrong with his mother! Am I that bad?!!!" She bursts again, you decide to hug her as she sobs.

"It's fine. Just let it all out." You silently wait for her to finish." You say."

After a couple of minutes, she pulls herself back and takes that tissue box that you bought in the way of coming, knowing it very well that it will come handy.

"Did you not come with Shawn? Say thanks to him for last night. This hotel is quite pretty now when I'm looking at it." She returns to being herself. You chuckle at her randomness.

"Well, he said welcome in advance when he dropped me here." You smile, remembering how he already assumed Aarushi is going to thank him.

"Well, where is he?"

"He went to see Jimin." You say, her face drops again at the mention. You see her face shifting once again. "Okay girl! Don't start again!! Forget that I mentioned Chim."

"Why did he go to that idiot? Backstabbing me like that." She clicks her tongue.

"He's equally upset too you know."

"Yeah right! He's the one who broke things with me." She mumbles, secretly worrying about Jimin.

"Don't lie, you know too well that he can't stand a day without talking you. Of course, he's upset too." You confirm. "Are you not going to work?"

"No. I am quitting it."

"What?!?! Isn't it too early to do it? You guys are gonna talk it out and solve things right?" Your voice pleads. But she gives you the look of disinterest.

"No. I don't wanna see his face anymore."

You sit back and frown at the girl. "Who you kidding to? Of course you wanna see him." You speak and roll the eyes at her.
